@msturk7 I've been to that specific park before. The dolphins have a very large tank to swim in, and don't have to come to the surface unless they want to. A vendor nearby sells small fish that you can feed to the dolphins.

The boy was hanging too far over the barrier and splashing his hands in the water. A dolphin's tail slapping the water is used to scare off potential threats. The dolphins are fine. They are not in the wild where they have to war with other pods and search for miles for food.
