Steve Howe seems to be the most influential musician in the group...even without Jon Anderson this is still great...also he is the driving force behind Asia. This album is definetly a preview of what was coming around the corner "commercially" for Steve.
Drama is a living testament that Yes can be on a creative level without Jon Anderson.Don't get me wrong,Jon is a very integral part of guiding Yes to this album ( by far higher standards than Trevor Rabin ).Drama ranks up there with Relayer,Going For The One and Close To The Edge.
Underrated is an understatement! This album was two years too soon. One listen and you can hear exactly how Asia became huge in '82 and '83. Side note: I first heard this album back '84 (undergrad years), I dubbed a cassette from the record, but recorded Side 2 of the record as Side 1 on the tape. That put "Into The Lens" as the opening track. I still can't listen to the album in the "normal" running order.

One of my favorite YES songs. The music sounds like it just came out, they were so far ahead of their time !
