Ninja Gaiden 2 is better than Sigma 2 in every way.. The blood, the difficulty, the frame rate, the speed of gameplay (Sigma 2 is quite slower and choppy, not to mention frequent screen tearing which really ruins a fast paced game like this) the greater no. of enemies, the smoother graphics (forget the better lighting fx on sigma 2), the better slashing, cutting, and crushing sounds (which are really eargasmic) and the greater sense of pride and accomplishment.. Sigma fans= casual gamers :-D

The enemies I noticed that were missing were the Gajas, the flying Van Gelfs, the female spider mechs, those big mechs that can fly, and those large purple zombie things with the chainsaw and cannon on each of their arms. And I think they're missing because Ryu uses the same obliterations on them as he does on enemies already shown in this video. Where specifically are these larger ghost fish at, I've never even noticed them o_O

I'm still gonna reserve final judgment until I actually play the game, but based on the videos I've seen, I don't like the direction the game is taking. No more essence which means no more UT chaining, retarded QTE's and a kunai climb that will only serve to slow down the gameplay, only katanas as weapons, a combat system that revolves around censorship, and only humans as enemies. Don't like it at all.

@lskre That's a fat lie! There's lack of splattereffects aswell. They reduced the blood, amount of hacked body parts & enemies onscreen aswell as their agressive A.I. from the 360. Three projectile weapons are also missing, the charge function for the projectile weapons aswell as pussle objekts like keys & artifacts to progress (in Sigma 2 doors are either left open or opens up for themselves, poltergeist style). Don't remember NGII having purple smoke after each kill either. You fail!!!

I don't know, I have only read a critic about it and they said the only difference was in violence (changing blood for lame and nonsence purple smoke). I have a ps3 and there's no way I can play the 360 version unless I pay for it in a lan house, and since most of the game remains the same, that is something I'm so not willing to do. I must admit it's nice knowing the real differences.

@lskre Critics. Huh! They are the source for the false Gay-Den pronouncement so yeah... don't take their word for anything Gaiden related. Last time I heard from them about Sigma 1 was that it included everything that the Black version for the xbox had and more when in reality there's two unlockable costumes missing, no arcade cabinet to play the original arcade game (not even the nes trilogy), one pussle segment and a whole corridor level missing. Details I know but just shows what they know.

@lskre I don't think you need to worry about another Sigma since NG3 will go multiplatform in the first go. It will be released on PS3, XBOX360 and Wii U a bit later. What there's to worry about though is the fact that the same team that did Sigma 2 is behind the third. Less said about those E3 videos from that game the better.

True Dragon Sword = Used by the true warrior

Lunar Staff = Wide range of destruction

Falcons Talons = Use of the body as a weapon to slice 'n dice

Eclipse Scythe = DEADLY IN ANY WAY

Tonfa = a real menace if not used right, but when you do, obliteration is pretty easy

Kusari-Gama = A pretty gimpy weapon when used by the inexperienced, when u master it.... boy oh boy....

Blade of the Archfiend = Awesome in any way

Vigoorian Flail = EPIC IN ANY WAY

With the Ultimate Technique attacks, are all the different variations automatic, or can I control them, or is it dependent on the formation of the enemies? And were the Obliteration Technique attacks automatic? Or can you control what you do in the middle of the attack, such as when he jumps off the giant blind boss's arm? And one last question, is there anything special I need to do to use these attacks, because I finish a boss fights just by attacking, then it goes to cutscene. Please respond.

@Ibacheese For the Ultimates, no u can control which ones you do. For example the True Dragon Sword u can either hold triangle or do a 360 analog movement and hold triangle. As for the Obliterations it's both random and non random. For the Draon Sword each limb u cut of either arm, leg, or head determines wich OT u use. It's random b/c for legs and arms there's two different OT's that are used randomly. Same applies for other weapons if they have 2 UT's, and OT's as well. Hope that helped.

I'm understanding the combos much better now too, although I end up doing this really weird drop while using the Blade Of The Archfiend, where instead of swirling wind, its more just wind going all around me, then I can't see what happens to the enemy. Any idea what it is?
