this is a fantastic performance, i had no idea they were able to reproduce two tribes so competently live - no offence but the sampled and sequenced bass on the studio version sounds virtually impossible to play (not that i'm a bass player!). the keyboard guy has worked with John Foxx (if it is Peter Oxendale)
i think my grandad from ww2 my pal in bosnia, wasnt thinking about money i believe they was fighting for family, friends, england, fucking money is an insult from these rich tossers who sing songs about brave people who gave there live to defend these fools..
I once read that their performance on SNL was "disasterous". This is far from disasterous. What is disasterous is today's so-called "musicians" who have to sample music because they can't make their own. The vocals are a little dry on this, but it is actually quite good.
Is that Liam Neeson on Bass?
Gnumanfan101 3 weeks ago
@Gnumanfan101 It's Mark O'Toole.

...or is there sequenced bass playing underneath it all?? regardless it's still awesome

@chrisnoaro1 There was a sequenced PPG Wave 2.2 underneath, but also live bass guitar.

Always loved the bass in this tune. Mark O'Toole's quite funky.

@DaftSwank It's a great bass line, I just wish they would've turned the bass up.
