  • He got very old looking.

  • His greatest roll was in 1984 (1957)a BBC production that is a free-bee on the internet. A performance that he should have been more recognized as a serious actor and not one of the trash films he was in.

  • Peter Cushing’s contribution to Dr Who gained some (long overdue) recognition in The Nine Lives of Doctor Who published in 1999, it seems that he enjoyed his time as the Doctor and of course it helped him obtain other similar roles such as appearing in Space 1999and Star Wars. Thank you Peter for all the hours of pleasure you have given and continue to give to the World

  • i already miss him..:(

  • PETER CUSHING UN ACTEUR DE GRANDE CLASSE AVEC CHRISTOPHER LEE , LE CELEBRE VAN HELSING CUSHING REPRESENTE AVEC LEE LES MEILLEURS ACTEURS DU GENRE MERCI RAY

  • @Herkko94 He also had a supporting role in the 1985 film "Biggles: Adventures in Time" - he played Biggles's commanding officer, William Raymond. It turned out to be his final acting role. :)

  • He had class. Can't say we see much of it nowadays.

  • Der beste und symphatischte Schauspieler aller Zeiten!!!

  • I think one of his best performances was as the Baron in Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed. Pity he didn't play more villains.

  • Was Peter caught un-awares at 5:12 (when he's huddled in that coat) ?

Or was it part of an act ?

  • He is, and will be the only Professor Van Helsing in the cinema history!!!

  • It's from Hammer's last Dracula film "The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires" (1974)! In this one Peter Cushing plays his Prof. Van Helsing for the fifth and last time! Count Dracula is embodied by John Forbes-Robertson, who - of course - replaced Christopher Lee...

  • Thank you :)
