  • I have such bad memories of that deck.

  • Comment removed

  • Can you message me the deck list please?

  • love your webcast...can we get a deck list of this version of Sabledonk thanks

  • Bit late their all roatated out

  • was wandering if u can send me a decklist...? :)

  • Can i have the card list of that deck???

  • MINDFUCK! Holey Fucking Shit.

That is so cheap.................I WANT THAT DECK :3

  • i'm glad sabledonk is not allowed anymore, it REALLY seems REALLY boring playing against it, sitting for 20 minutes doing nothing, yeay....

  • could u get me one of those playmats ill give u money

  • OMG

  • There's one thing about watching many of your videos that really confuses me... how are you able to put down a pokemon that's an evolved pokemon? Don't you have to put down zubat > golbat > crobat?? I recently started playing TCGO and i've never seen anyone do that.

PS: I want to buy a booster box that will be legal when the rotation is done and i'm a starter. Which one would you recommend? :) I have a green tornado deck right now with some extra B/W cards. TY mister pokemaster! :D

  • @chinimasse The reason he can directly play Crobat is because it is an SP Pokemon which are evolved Pokemon which can be played as a basic

  • @chinimasse For sure, for sure; get a heart gold soul silver booster box.

  • where did you get the sleeves

  • my god start spiritomb haha u lose

  • hey could you show us what is exactly in this deck????

  • j wittz do you have a zekrom deck if you do can you please make a vid of it

  • Just a small note: If you are forced to proxy, then at least keep 1 copy of the 'right' cardnext to the game, so you can show the real card when you play the proxy. For people who don't know the cards you're proxying, this can be useful.

  • Turn 1 Win and decked with this deck this deck is good except you use a 3rd of the time that you are allowed in tourneys.

    :/

  • Hey youtube I am doing a free raffle for a free code for the Red Frenzy (Emboar) theme deck. To enter just subscrie to my channel and send me a pm or leave a comment and like green my Tornado Theme deck opening saying (enter me.)The raffle ends when I have 50 or 100 subscribers I will decide on how fast everything goes.

  • Sweet decklist. Just curious though, why do you run 2 expert belts? Just worried about facing Special Dark/Seeker and Expert Belt prized?

  • 2questions:

    1) can the opponent play pokespray on turn 1?

    2) if he can, can't he pokespray ur setup?

  • @jackywho13

    1.) yes

    2.) yes

however, if your opponent has a powerspray (usually 3 in a deck) and 3 SP pokemon in their starting hand, they're really lucky. Even if they go 1st and get a Cyrus off, the odds of 3 sp pokemon and a power spray are still low, but 1 power spray doesn't really even cripple the deck, just slows it down a tad.

  • Sorry forgot to metion in my last post can't this deck be easily stopped with a spiritomb lead?

  • Hi I am new to competetive tcg pokemon.....Why do you have cards turned around in you deck?

  • What if the guy you're versing hase 4 power spray in there hand

  • Very nice strategy! Played the game back in Jr. High and was ranked in the top 10 in my state! The game sure has changed! Great job!

Words of advice: 1.) Keep the videos shorter, more people will watch them. 2.) Explain each card's ability better. For many of us, we aren't familiar with the cards.

  • Where.

    Did you.

    Get

    Those sleeves?

  • Where did you get your custom playmat

  • @JWittz How do you usually get the good cards you need for decks, by trading or buying them? I do hear you say you barrow many cards from your friends for your tournament decks.

  • decklist pls

  • Big news from Poke beach says pokemon is think of mid season rotation to HGSS in jun july ish! if not then next rotation it will be hgss anyways

  • awesome vid :) also could I just ask where did you get those awesome black and White sleeves??? :D

  • Hey how did you get that play mat?????????????

  • are you actually going to play this deck in a tourney?

  • Do you have an exact decklist?

  • @Igotnoskillz I'd assume he does, that or he could simply go through and write one out. however he may assume that since he drew his entire deck you could grab a note pad and figure it out your self. just saying...

  • This is horrible and I agree with how bad things are getting, but I wouldn't be surprised if half the people who end up using this deck got the idea from this video, ignoring that they would figure it out later anyway. Also, your sleeves are awesome.

  • @elmosgun11 i think he used the video as a tool to tell people to use this deck so that TPCI will deem the format unhealthy and perform midseason rotation

  • HOLY MOLY MACARONI!!

  • I am on board for signing that petition, I think the main target for this game (being the kids) are going to be hurt the most. Many kids go and play their favorite pokemon in the decks they run. now when they play at nationals the decks they choose will lose 70% of the time? thats just wrong and there will be lots a kids in the lower devisions that may not handle being donked three to four times out of their eight or nine rounds very well. I'm pretty sure parents will be just as upset.

  • HGSS-on! PLS COME SOONER!

  • Yu-gi-oh is almost as bad as Pokemon in terms of the competitive scene... Ridiculous combos that you can hardly do anything about... More and more luck dependant

  • I'm gonna stencil a "Stop Sableye" t-shirt.

I would gladly send you one when I'm finished.

  • set a time for each turn? Having sitting there for approx 10-15 minutes seeing opponent draw out everything plus all those in between I would automatically scoop seeing someone eating up time frame .. ZZ

  • so you lose if they have a powerspray on that first uxie drop.

  • its even worse... with a 14 basics list, you'll start with sableye in almost 47% of all games. so you got a donk chance of about 74% if i didnt miscalculate. (not involving tomb/whatever)

  • The only card that Yu-Gi-Oh! ever had that worked close to how SableDonk worked, wasn't that Yata-Garasu only that it focused on hand discard to win a.k.a. "Yata Lock"? I remember how ridiculous that deck was back in the day especially with Delinquent Duo which was also banned.

  • I definitely support this petition to get Play! Pokemon to do their jobs and provide a reasonably playable format. It would also be nice to see a consistent and complete ruleset, but that's another debate for another day. As I said above about math, I don't feel like doing procedural proofs in youtube comments either. :p

  • I hate this deck pokemon will make a change (i hope) :P

  • WHAT SET IS CROBAT AND UXIE FROM

    ANYBODY?

  • @pokemonbobby7 uxie is from LA (legends awaken) and Crobat G is from Plt

  • @pokemonbobby7 Uxie is from Legends Awakened. Crobat G is from Platinum.

  • "Set up, draw 6"

    "Power spray"

    ....

  • @noobprz You do know how hard it is to start with 3 SP Pokemon and a power spray right?

  • @LolitsTubeYou Not too hard haha

  • @LolitsTubeYou I know its hard but it is possible so i am just assuming he had one

  • Can I have a decklist you use?

  • Da truth! I'm 99% confident that TPCi will make an announcement after Regionals pertaining to the obvious issues with the format with the new rules. They've just been way too quiet lately.

  • Hey man could you make a video were you play against a vilegar deck with that deck with the Black and White rules.

  • Vilegar has Ghastly does this factor in if all

  • @xixemptyxix No, because Overconfident activates before Ghastly is able to attack. Good question though.

  • But the SP player could have had a spray to spray the first Uxie, making it harder.

  • Power Spray isn't too disruptive. It's very unlikely that one would open 3 SP Pokemon and a Power Spray in a 7 card hand, as opening 3 basic SPs is already unlikely. Furthermore, if one did have such an open, one extra heads on a Super Scoop Up allows the Set-Up to continue uninterrupted, and we all saw the plethora of SSUs, Junk Arms, Dual Balls being used and granting access to the entire deck. If SP goes first, it may lose anyway, as it would require benching 4 basics or multiple sprays.

  • I think your opponent sprayed the first Flash Bite.

  • Try this for test your own statistics:

1.Go to Excel if you run Windows

    2.Go to Formulas>More Functions>Statistics>DIST.HIPERGEOM

3.Put from up to botton 1;7;4;60(put false on logic if needed)

4.1 is the number of the card that you want. 8 Is the number of cards in your hand(With Draw) 4 is the nuber of copies in this case 60 is the number of card in the deck

    6.Use Enter on the formula.

5.Take the result and multiply by 100 boom here goes the dinamite(LOL) you have now the probabilty.

  • can u make a deck list for this deck ?

  • holy cow! i just noticed how well you would do an Ernie impression

    good thing not bad

  • The game should have been more realistic, as the SP player could have a Power Spray.

  • @zaGlaceon I agree, but even if he had 3 or 4 sprays he still would have hit with Flash Bite 8 or 9 times and still would have Setup 3 or 4 times.

  • Comment removed

  • According to my calculations, you will start with Sableye 50.82%. Here is my logic: Odds of drawing Sableye in 1st card is 4/60 => 6.67% *Odds of drawing Sableye in 2nd card is 4/59 => 6.78% *...3rd card is 4/58 => 6.90% *...4thcard is 4/57 => 7.02% *...5th card is 4/56 => 7.14% *...6th card is 4/55 => 7.27% *...7th card is 4/54 => 7.41% * = assuming you don't have Sableye yet so if they play spiritomb, you win 37.5% but you made your point clear in my opinion... thanks JWittz!
  • Luckily Sableye should be rotated out at some point soon.. Whether in august or sooner.. But I think I just kinda died a little inside watching this.. =l

  • JWittz two things:

    1) I completely agree with you. These new rules are out of hand and should be changed. I would suggest that the first player can play trainers, stadiums, supporters, etc. but cannot attack. You also mentioned this rule before in your previous video about "Donk-Less" formats, so it should workout well.

    2) Those card sleeves are AMAZING!!! Where did you get them from? Please respond.

  • @thesaviorshees I bought the same cleeves @ hardrock-pokemon.

Just look it up on google

  • @dialga8666 k thanx dude.

  • What happens , if both player starts with sableye ?? witch player beginns ??

  • please check out my pm i just sent u thejbwittz

  • what about if your opponet starts with 3 sp pokemon and have POWER SPRAY

  • At least we won´t get these rules in the Finland´s nationals.:D

  • Victory Medal is so damn hard and expensive to get a hold of. The cheapest I've found it for is $40, which for me is too much for a situational trainer card. Instead I replaced it with reasearch records which is a much better consistency card as it helps optimize uxie draws.

  • Me and my friends have nicknamed it LEEROYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY JENKINSSSSSSSSSSS! Thumbs up if you agree. :3

  • This really is just insane. But shouldn't you be playing a collector or two? VS Spiritomb it should be awesome. I'm almost 100% sure that I'll play this for nats. I acctually liked the fact that they changed the rules because now I can play something else than Luxchomp without investing tons of money :P

  • You played a lot of the cards in the wrong order..

  • @Flopsy62 how..

  • @Flopsy62 The fact that you don't even play the game adds zero credit to your argument. You play Yu-Gi-Oh! It's an entirely different card game--the only card that Yugioh ever had that worked even close to how this deck does are banned. The only misplay I made was the one Colin pointed out, where I could have played a poketurn from my deck at the end and saved the junk arm for one more flash bite. I drew the entire deck--I don't really see what was played in the "wrong order".

  • @TheJWittz Gravekeeper's in Yu-gi-oh donks ppl with one card: Royal Tribute

  • @TheJWittz So true. I picked up two of the world champ decks just to see if I wanted to invest money into the game, pokemon players have soo many cards that let them add instantly from deck to hand. It's crazy fast compared to most if not all yugioh decks.

  • @Flopsy62 you don't even play pokemon...

  • @Flopsy62 ummm, you can play the cards whenever you want in pokemon.

    ...

  • How can you retire Pokémon?

  • @AndrewXAnarchy "Retire" is the name of Unown R's Pokepower--it lets you discard Unown R from the bench to draw one card

  • @TheJWittz o my god this is going to suck unless they do somthing soon, JWittz i do want to thank you for everything you do i only been play for a year now and your video's have helped me soo much this past weekend i made top 8 and i truly think your video's help me do it so thank you so much

  • That's ridiculous man, nice sleeves too.

  • You got the same sleeves as me :D

Also, if you have no victory medal whats a good replacement

  • That was a great video and really informative. It's solved all my questions about sablye donk.

It's just a shame that the format is so broken......

  • those are some sick card sleeves!!!!!!! =D

  • I use the same grip when i write, that's freaky!

  • So you've been learning statistics.............*SUBSCRIBE, SUBSCRIBE, SUBSCRIBE*, just kidding but your calculations are correct though xD.

But yeah, I still don't think Sableye will be bad enough to get banned. It'll win a few tournaments, but as far as I see it the format will be roughly Sabledonk > Sp Engine > Tanks with Spiritomb > Sabledonk .

If it does end up dominating battle roads, then that'll probably be the best time to ban/eratta it before it can dominate nationals as well.

  • First turn rape!

  • Josh, u definitely desreve this word

    ''Magician''.

  • I have sableye/ unown R if u need PM me and we can trade on Pokebeach

  • This is just frightening

  • That fucking bonkers.. Idk if Icould play a format so... jwepuifgoefhgie

  • Amazing deck analysis; props to your understanding of the game.

  • The good news is,

    I can still play magnezone.

  • What a coincidence that they're both Ghost/Dark Pokemon...

  • @23slayer23 And they both have no weakness, too! It's like they were destined to be rivals!

  • I like carrying a donk deck and dice with me for the sake of killing time. It's a lot more fun than playing conventional solitaire.

  • BAN THE HECK OUT OF SABELYE!... and sprit tomb!

  • Ohh would you look at that, I started with a Spiritomb. Good game nigga.

  • @Phrid that isnt an auto win for you, if he gets sableye, the dark energy, and a crobat (and uxies to even further increase this chance) he can kill Tomb and you will have to get another one out on your first turn

or if the opponent does run collector, regice and Unown dark/azelf, he can impersonate for the pokemon he needs to either kill tomb next turn (you need a second one or a turn on plume) and then he will just kill you from there

  • @PkMnTrainerAzZona He said he ran 1 special dark, and from what I saw, 3 bats(?). If he starts with all 3 of those (20% chance or some shit like that) then so be it, but I have a much higher chace to start with a tomb+any other basic. Also, if you are going for the donk, you aren't playing collector, simple as that.

  • @Phrid Shit 2% chance, not 20% lol

  • there are ways to beat it.

  • the best part of the whole vid was those sleeves

  • 13:35 not trying to be a smart alec but...garchomp c is actually a she.

  • More proof that this deck is vile and the format needs a fix. On the plus side, my Unown R and Dusk Balls are now awesome trade fodder. But seriously, I think that if you want to play donk decks, then play them in Unlimited, where the format is more conducive for high speed decks like these. I'm praying for another Neo-Genesis play from Pokemon and a mid-season rotation, but I'm not putting too much into it. Time to build fun decks and play the little kids at league for points...

  • when u post a video after they fix all this madness i will return to the game for now its pointless to play if u r just gonna lose before u even draw

  • also you dont get to rearange with alph just mentioning that for all players.

  • how usefull is that victory metal to your deck any way?

  • The guy who starts with 2 Garchomp C and an Ambipom G while not Spraying that first Uxie drop deserves to lose.

  • @MachSpeedRocket because he deserves to have to have a power spray in his hand and 3 SP pokemon on his bench on the set up to be able to survive first turn before he can draw or play a supporter?

  • @PkMnTrainerAzZona @SHlNeeFAN @AronFigaro You don't understand. If he already had enough luck to start with 240 HP on the field, why can't he just have a little more? Is God laughing at him?

  • @MachSpeedRocket still, power spray has requirements. starting with 3 basic sp pokemon is not very common.

  • @MachSpeedRocket Assuming in his opening hand of seven cards, with three pokemon in it, he HAD a spray, AND he still hit triple tails on super scoop ups, etc. Yes, it gives him another chance, but it's not actually a huge statistical effect. I don't feel like doing all the math in a youtube comment, but suffice it to say it's in the realm of 8%.

  • -Facepalm-

  • Why pokemon Rescue? Unown R?

  • @Rohert08 Unown r just keep up the drawing and with pokemon rescue you can get back unown r and do it again.

  • ban Sableye. End of story.

  • This format is honestly so stupid. This just illustrates exactly how luck-based the game has become, which discourages those who actually practice and put time into it to get better... I know that I don't want to go to a high-level tournament after weeks of practice and get beat by some scrub playing shuppet or something, yet it's a definite possibility. It's instances like this that are driving good players away from this used-to-be-great game, and toward others that are much more skill-based.

  • Ive got those sleaves too =D

  • bring it to regionals ill sign it in st.louis

  • u hold a marker weird

  • @sajenmoeller Yeah, it's how I've held my writing utensils my whole life. I've done it so long that I forgot it's not normal : P

  • wow, even more broken then I thought. I will definatley sign that petion if it's online, and tell other players I know to sign it. I really hope they fix this as I was planning on going to nationals, but I won't if the rules stay the same. I want a rule postponing to september as most people who learnt from the decks probably won't be going to nationals or worlds. I would hate to see a sableye ban, but I'd take it over this messed up format. also where did you get those awesome sleeves ?

  • JWittz, you should send that to Pokemon Company International, so that they can hurry up and get rid of that blasted Sableye!

  • Best list I've seen, like how there is 1 dark 1 seeker and no collectors, could u pm me that list? Or r u goin 2 make me have to figure it out myself and rite down every card I see

  • Wow that deck is stupid...

  • Pokemon black and white made the video game into Digimon and the card game into YuGiOh....

  • WoW

    T.T

    nuff said

  • just one question j wittz.... you can basically use all ur trainers in one turn because you only got 1 supporter if im right

  • I played my Gyarados deck at league this past saturday, WITHOUT Sableye, and even just from how abusive the current Gyarados build is, it's so stupid an not fun. But it's not even safe if they change it RR on since even though SP loses out on its engine, Arceus becomes an explosive deck without Machamp in the format or disruption to oppose it since it runs its own exclusive engine. The only real format that would be sane at all is HGSS on, and that goes against the decision made last year.

  • pretty sure you're suppose to DRawer/ drawer into seeker/ drawer when comboing off at 14:30. played shuppet donk for the entirety of last season and it feels like playing prosbloom

  • JWittz, For accurate statistics on opening starts type your deck into pokepedia..net and go to analyze. For what I think is your build a chance to start sableye in a non-mulligan hand is actually 45%.

  • @TheWolfWarrior25 Well, I'm too keen on the Yugioh format. All I know is that they ban and limit cards as opposed to rotating sets. And I heard recently that there aren't any definitive decks like LuxChomp that win most of the time.

  • I would have just said that I scoop as I wouldn't want to wait 20 mins without even DRAWING a card.

  • @TheWolfWarrior25 Man... Looks like Pokemon TCG might be in for a Dark age. No pun intended.

  • @TheWolfWarrior25 My point exactly.

  • Spiritomb.

  • @TheWolfWarrior25 Yeah, I know.

And I dunno why they did that so soon either. So the solutions on the table are either ban Sableye, tweak the rules or a midseason rotation. Neither of those choices are without a downside.

  • Sableye in the sky~

He's really overeager so your luxchomp just might die!

    Sableye in the sky~

He's gonna sweep your whole bench cause he's speedy as a fly!

Being serious, card is far too overpowered. I've said this quite a few times now, but I really don't think Pokemon International was paying much attention to us before they made the rule changes. The community discussed this for quite a while now, so its a rather huge disappointment.

  • I think the probability of drawing Sableye is a bit higher. If the probability of drawing Sableye on the first draw is 4/60, assuming you didn't get it, the next is 4/59, 4/58, etc. Adding all of these draws, the probability is about 49.18%. These rules need to be fixed or this one card will just ruin the game.

  • Since you run expert belt and special dark you only needed to flash bite garchomp 3 times instead of 4

  • @hgssprime With expert belt and special dark you only need to flash bite garchomp once--Expert Belt gives you 80 HP and allows you to hit for 70 damage

  • @TheJWittz Well you but what I meant is I was thinking you were gonna flash bite it just enough times to be able to KO it with over confident and then go after ambipom or the other garchomp. lol

  • @hgssprime Oh I see what you're saying. Because you need to limit their bench to 1 to clear a pokemon with seeker, you have to get a knockout with flash bites first

  • @TheJWittz Ya, it would work the same lets say if you flashbit ambipom to death and then flash bit the active and seekered up the other garchomp. Haha That's just the experience I've had against uxie donk was that the always damaged my bench first so I assumed that that's what you were going to do here haha

  • JWittz which booster box do you think I should buy if It was up to you? Black and White base or Call of Legends? BTW great episode :)

  • @TheWolfWarrior25 And since Japan isnt even doing qualifiers, or maybe not even entering worlds, that should be less reason to follow those rules to the key.

  • couldn't they have just power sprayed ur uxie at 6:33 ? that would have ruined u.

  • @strg9 Yeah I didn't really put that into perspective--I just wanted to explain the damage that you can do. However, assume an sp deck runs 10 SP basic pokemon--they will start with those 3 sp pokemon or more in hand is around 8%. Combine that with the probability of starting with a Power Spray (assuming they run the full count of 4), and the probability for a hand with 3 or more SP basics and at least one Power Spray is somewhere under 4% of the time, so the scenario is pretty rare.

  • hopefully pokemon won't go the same way as yugioh, having a ftk win worlds was just a joke and one of the main reasons i switched to pokemon

  • Gay.

  • Just wondering, how do you keep your camera so stable above the play area? Do you have some sort of rig or tripod?

  • Glad to see that dual ball I threw in our trade from a while back is actually seeing some use :D I really enjoy these kind of videos. I remember when I was first getting back into the TCG that I watched your shuppet donk playthru atleast 5 times and it taught me a lot. These videos are very helpful to newcomers and everyone that plays. I hope you will post more videos of playthrus or full matches. Did that marker leak onto your playmat? Hopefully the format will rotate when B&W is released.

  • absolutely hideous, not looking forward to nationals one bit.

  • you should get 1 turn after your field is cleared of pokemon. draw a card and if you can't search out a pokemon then you're donked. if you can, game goes on. it would also make donk decks un-playable cause they'll deck themselves. just my 2 cents.

  • This was an amazing video that the Pokemon TCG company seriously needs to watch. Sableye is just ridiculous.
