beautiful craftmanship, hope the engines don't suffer electrolytic corrosion due to that copper pipe in the cooling system to the rear engine. Amazing and inspiring work, love the fabricated rear strut towers, car looks strongly built.

a 'w' engine is when to 'v' engines are bolted together, therfore creating 'vv'. This has two V6s in the same car, but they are not bolted together, so this is not a W12 car.

Yeah it has two engines but they are two V6s and they run in sync. Hence a W12. V+V=W and 6+6=12. Watch Pt1 and it'll all make sense...

By the looks of the vids the guys have thought about the design for this. Look at the strnghtening points on the cage, the rear turrets and the front struts. the car will be better balanced as it has an engine at each end with the fuel tank, bettery and driver in the central position of the car.And for the record a lancia Thema with a 4.2 Ferrari engine is bunging a bigger engine in a road car. Look at the work thats gone in to the conversion surely you can appreciate that?

The VW world have been putting 2 engines in golfs, polos etc for years with some fantastic results. Ive seen novas, minis, fiestas and golfs at shows around the UK with theses conversions, a nove twinni do the 0-60 at trax in 3.2 secs.

One of the Lupo's best features is the handling, which placing a V12 between the front axle would just ruin. Why do people still care about 0-60 and 1/4mile time? The real cars do well through the gears (30-100, for example) and can carry real speed through corners. Otherwise you could just get a big bike, or drag-racer.
