Indurain only won 2 stages outside the Time trials in the tour de france. Lance Armstrong >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Indurain. Indurain one of the worst champions in history, his defensive tactics was appaling and simply took advantage of a poor era in cycling
@jackdanielss Indurain wasn't an attacking rider, he was an unentertaining champion rather than a poor one. He was unquestionably a great rider. Also, he dominated at the start of the EPO era. I don;t know whether he juiced or not. But I do know that he's always maintained a dignified silence on that subject, unlike manyon the Spanish cycling scene who defend any Spanish rider caught doping.
also Federico Bahamontes, Luis Ocana, Greg Lemond, Joaquim Agostinho, Raymond Poulidor, Louisson Bobet, Darrigade, Julio Jimenez, Luis Heredia, Philippe Thys and Marco Pantani, all of them great climbers of the tour
Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx. Bernard Hinnault, Fausto Coppi, M.Indurain, gino Bartalli, Joop Zoetmelk and Lance Armstrong all of them great byke-riders of the tour de France
Indurain dominated LeMond in several stages even when LeMond won - Indurain was working for Delgado.
There was a timetrial when LeMond was wearing his stupid aerodynamic helmet and bike and Indurain took 3 minutes out of him with no special equipment riding a normal bike.
LeMond always has and continues to be, a complete prick.
Yeah, just like Indurain got owned at Les Arcs 5 years later. And just in case your a Lance fan, how did his comeback work for him this year? LOL! Podium at the Tour thanks in large part to the TTT and ZERO wins in Europe in his publicit..er...comeback campaign, lol
Learn something about cycling, you'll be better off! Oh, and how about scampering back to the livestrong site, lol, I'm sure you're missed over there.

Con los corredores que había en éste tour Armstrong no habría hecho ni al podio

@jackdanielss I disagree. If anyone won in a poor era in cycling it was Armstrong.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Lemond was old and weak in 1991. He would have kicked Indurain's butt in his prime.
