dude , may I give you some advice??--- use a compressor , and stop cuttin the low end on the amp , it doesn't make the tone better , it makes the whole thing sound so gay

@samyboy25niner MM bass: active electronics with active/passive switch, vintage style pickups, block pearl inlays, custom MM pickguard, badass bass2 bridge, smaller fingerboard radius, etc...

a modern standard (normal) jazz bass has passive electronics, standard pickups, dot inlays, etc..

Theres no point in demoing it anyway since there are hundreds of vids on of marcus playing that bass...but especially if youre deaf...

It's a great bass, but in this vid it sounds like s@#$, maybe its ur amp...u put too much treeble, and the low freqs simply vanished...almost like ur playing in a crap guitar amp.

But, how I said first it's a nice bass!

@FRSyndicate2 - I have a Squier myself (albeit I've ripped out the passives and put some active EMG pickups in to give it some bite- and I gotta say I only use it as a back up now) .All I'm saying is that this guy isn't persuading me to go out and spend a load of money on a Marcus Miller signature. If I was working at Fender I wouldn't be asking this guy to review any of my products EVER again.

Its a good bass. I've got one myself. But its worth nothing on a guitar amp. Try the EBS Fafner or something that pack some punch :P
