love it maybe someday i could be that good. i havent seen if you've done a silver surfer drawing yet but i would love to see you whip out something amazing.
he's a good drawer so wa did u think i meant i didnt mean run out rack sum paint an get up i aint no stranger 2 graff been doing it 4 bou 8 years so be careful who u try skooling
Cool, man... nice inking skills. Sometimes, a guy does a great pencil work, but he $% up when finishing (in my first inks I admit that I sucked big time, even tho my pencils were ok).
so in the 96' did you have been improving your technic since then, you should be a very awesome drawer now, anyways congratulations i hope one day i can be as good as you i find it hard but not impossible...
For the Hulk drawing, I used a combination of techincal pens for the figure and details and a Sharpie marker to fill in the large black areas, and a bristol board. For most of the videos I put up I have used regular printer/copier paper and a fine point Sharpie. A few of them were drawn onto a dry erase board, even. Those drawings on the dry erase board only exist on video, anymore.
thats ur best drawing. actually its hard to say because of like SPAWN and Joker and stuff but that is the most amazing hulk drawing in the world!! too bad i saw this video now or i would have bought that!!
dude no offense but u need to work on the leg muscle and proportion because his thigh dose not follow where his calf muscle and u should get more practice like read lots of comics and look at the body muscles cuz no offense i expect that drawing from a 16 and under year old u should look look at dale keowns drawings
can you beleive a chick called me aperv?..man she needs to take the f-bomb and shiove it!. anmyway your art is funny man, and i think some of your comiedy stuff is funny, i dont like sdome of it, but the punks is fairly funny lol. i am too young to remeber the original punks, its mainly goths you see these days, they look like vampires, one lives near me..what do i care? but i reacall the punks did get involved in violenceor drugs, very anti establishment
I already know you just draw and not good at explaining things but when you draw a moon, do you just add little dots on the side of the circle you drew to make it look like a moon or little dashes.
Hi Deni! It's a combination, really. I make sort of half-circles representing the craters, and some dashes and lines to represent the texture of the moon's surface.
Somehow the idea of you doing requests made me think of a certain Beavis and Butthead episode where they're backstage at a circus sideshow asking the double-jointed lady lewd things...so I guess I would say heh heh hmmf hmmf can you draw a picture of Mister Fantastic using his nose to pick his...oh, nevermind...
Where do you get your comic book board? I want to start drawing some original comic book stuff, but have never been able to find the stuff to draw it on. Is there a standard?
Yep. 11 x 17 inches, Bristol board is the standard. There is a company called Blue Line Pro that sells the boards. If you Google the comapny name, I think the website will pop up in the results.
There's a hater website that featured me because I'm such a weenie for liking comic books. You know, stories about super heroes. But then in another thread the king-doofus webmaster went on and on about that great new tv show, Heroes. You know, the one about...oh, nevermind...
And thanks for the help Matt. I googled the name, found the company, and the art boards you mentioned. I remembered using those back in college and then they just sort of dissappeared! Well, the page is now bookmarked and I'll be ordering 100 sheets ASAP!
Awesome work!"

I'm having trouble trying to remember the male anatomy when it comes to drawing muscular pictures..
I gotta study that a bit more.

Hi Matt, can you actually profit on that? I mean I guess you don't have the rights for The Incredible Hulk?
Aren't you earning money on duplicating other peoples artwork?

Thanks Matt. I will look them up. Whenever I ask the local art store about it, they cop an attitude about comic book artists. Whatever!
Thanks again and VERY impressive! You've inspired me!

Great!
About that art store; The same snobs that look down on comics praise artistic thieves like Lichenstein. Irony?
-- Matt
MattHawes 4 years ago
NO KIDDING! I once had an art professor put down my comic book drawings and rave about an art installation that was nothing but coat hangers.
Don't make Gary angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry! :)

I think I would be in constant battles with art professors like that.
