@FrigginDggn Lifestyle disagreements are not the only issue that people have with the bible. It's a relic of a highly outdated mindset. The perspective on reality that it espouses is exactly the kind of thought that has kept man crawling in the mud for centuries. We are beyond the time of kings, we are beyond the time of gods. I read her books when I was around 13 years old. I forgot about her until I fell asleep last night and dreamed someone was telling me they were called Seth. I woke up and reread Seth Speaks again.
The Nature of Personal Reality by Jane and Seth is a classic work that is really freeing material, highly recommended. Jane was the original channeler before it was even called channeling, and that book helped me through a really tough time in my life, everything in those works really resonated within me and opened my eyes wide, been trying to keep them open ever since. Even today, decades later, very few of us are able to grasp the quintessence of her teachings, the truth of our own reality, and that is why it is kept from us while we are focused on this physical life. I admit, I was skeptical because of the source of the information. But after I quit fighting with my skepticism and began to think about the concepts Seth expressed, I was blown away. The ideas were/are light years ahead of conventional ideas of reality and spirituality. Regardless of the source, the information in the ideas are what's important.
Seth's message, whether from another dimention or the subconcious of Jane Roberts, is one of peace and creativity. Fear of God and the Devil distorts the real truth. That is why fear is the mind killer. And the Truth is: the ideas behind good/evil are created by us.

I was brought up by Pentecostal Christians who were comfortable with notions of speaking in tongues, prophesy, etc, and this sounds very much like the stuff I heard as a child with one exception: this is infinitely more interesting. I have never read any of her books but on the strength of this clip I now intend to.

That there are still many people who don't recognize the significance of the Seth material is somewhat mind boggling, but this world is still relatively young, and though Jane Roberts' seminal work is understood by many as seminal and classic and - basic metaphysics 101 - those young souls who cannot recognize truth will surely do so, in time.
There were many bizarre things coming out of the 60s and 70s drug phase. This stuff fits right into it. But as an intellectual I cannot ignore validity of information. It isn't my concern (and shouldnt be yours) whether or not Jane was really channeling. What I am concerned with is the information and how useful it is. I will say it IS very useful. At this point in time, it is our true bible. The most valuable aspect is the acknolwedgment of individuality. Religion is man-made all the way.
It's fascinating to see after reading the books, which are so eloquent. Seth sounds so bizarre trying to come through Jane's body. People get really freaked out by it but it's the same kind of situation as the Abraham-Hicks material, just that Esther Hicks is much more "digestible" than Jane Roberts if you're talking mainstream culture, so it is accepted on a more massive scale.
This is my first time seeing Jane/Ruburt channeling Seth. So beautiful. I never realized he was almost yelling the material. Compelling. If you're seriously interested in the Seth books, I recommend starting with The Nature of Personal Reality. peace, J

You're welcome my friend. Years ago I read all of the Seth books and it greatly expanded my view of possibilities. This video doesn't do justice to the message Seth spoke of. I can see how it may look laughable to someone who is unfamiliar with his overall explanation of things and that is unfortunate. Imagination is the gateway to growth and understanding, without it we tread the ordinary path.

It seems some people would only be happy if Jane Roberts had a teleprompter, straight teeth, a $100 haircut, and a $500 pants suit. In their minds it would make the whole Seth thing somehow more acceptable. I even knew somebody who freaked out when they heard Jane sometimes wore black nail polish. For me from the start it has always been about the message and the positive effect it has had on me. For all I care Jane Roberts could have been a turtle.
But for me the most disturbing thing about this video is the title. Rosaryfilms claims that her video is proof of angelic intelligence for atheists. Is that what was intended by this video? I don't think so. And I don't think the person who made this video really read the book of Leviticus through. I think they just grabbed a passage that they thought would serve their real purpose, which was to try and debunk Jane Roberts.
But what rosaryfilms doesn't show us is that Leviticus is full of many other things as well. There are rules for what kind of clothes you can wear, when it is right to sleep with a slave, what foods you cannot eat, how to offer sacrifice to God. There are rules telling you not not to shave your beard. There is even a passage that states "deformed" (perhaps it means "handicapped") people cannot approach the altar of the lord.

The video quotes one passage from the book of Leviticus. I love when false Christians pick a passage out of the bible that they think proves their point, but then ignore everything else. The book of Leviticus is a book of rules and rituals. As rosaryfilms shows in her video, there is a passage in Leviticus she has interpreted to mean that one should not associate with wizards or soothsayers.

I recommend that anyone who is familar with the life of Jane Roberts watch this video and report back here how she is being misrepresented, because rosaryfilms is not allowing anyone to make comments about her video. These videos are admittedly a poor incitement to read the Seth books, but believe me when I say they are life changing and life affirming. Since verbal delivery of the Seth material through the trance chanel Jane Roberts was given at a slow speed to facilitate her husband taking the material down in longhand, it is difficult to listen to as ordinary conversation. Jane Roberts was very brave to present this material at a time when trance channeling was not universally accepted as it is today.
Yeah, I loved the books too, but I can't help thinking she was just a great writer and philosopher, but not really channeling anyone at all. Her accent seems so. . .phoney.
The accent is ingenious. The information at first is nonlinguistic, after it is immediately translated to be English, the accent, however, comes together with the energies, as it were.

This is such a great video! I've read much of the seth material and it leaves me with a good feeling but should be listened to carefully as it can seem complicated. I still find it interesting that the ones who call this "demon possession" are not calling it that from there own judgment but from what someone told them about demon possesion, i say to them, for one day, drop the ideas you've heard and listen with your heart! Weird, this whole demonic possession thinking is nothing short of medieval reasoning. Anyway, I began reading Seth's books back in the mid-70's. I admit, I was skeptical because of the source of the information. But after I quit fighting with my skepticism and began to think about the concepts Seth expressed, I was blown away. The ideas were/are light years ahead of conventional ideas of reality and spirituality. Regardless of the source, the information in the ideas are what's important.

There were many bizarre things coming out of the 60s and 70s drug phase. This stuff fits right into it. But as an intellectual I cannot ignore validity of information. It isn't my concern (and shouldnt be yours) whether or not Jane was really channeling. What I am concerned with is the information and how useful it is. I will say it IS very useful. At this point in time, it is our true bible. The most valuable aspect is the acknolwedgment of individuality. Religion is man-made all the way.

It's fascinating to see after reading the books, which are so eloquent. Seth sounds so bizarre trying to come through Jane's body. People get really freaked out by it but it's the same kind of situation as the Abraham-Hicks material, just that Esther Hicks is much more "digestible" than Jane Roberts if you're talking mainstream culture, so it is accepted on a more massive scale.

I can see how it may look laughable to someone who is unfamiliar with his overall explanation of things and that is unfortunate. It seems some people would only be happy if Jane Roberts had a teleprompter, straight teeth, a $100 haircut, and a $500 pants suit. In their minds it would make the whole Seth thing somehow more acceptable. I even knew somebody who freaked out when they heard Jane sometimes wore black nail polish. For me from the start it has always been about the message and the positive effect it has had on me. For all I care Jane Roberts could have been a turtle.

But for me the most disturbing thing about this video is the title. Rosaryfilms claims that her video is proof of angelic intelligence for atheists. Is that what was intended by this video? I don't think so. And I don't think the person who made this video really read the book of Leviticus through. I think they just grabbed a passage that they thought would serve their real purpose, which was to try and debunk Jane Roberts.

But what rosaryfilms doesn't show us is that Leviticus is full of many other things as well. There are rules for what kind of clothes you can wear, when it is right to sleep with a slave, what foods you cannot eat, how to offer sacrifice to God. There are rules telling you not not to shave your beard. There is even a passage that states "deformed" (perhaps it means "handicapped") people cannot approach the altar of the lord.

The video quotes one passage from the book of Leviticus. I love when false Christians pick a passage out of the bible that they think proves their point, but then ignore everything else. The book of Leviticus is a book of rules and rituals. As rosaryfilms shows in her video, there is a passage in Leviticus she has interpreted to mean that one should not associate with wizards or soothsayers.

These videos are admittedly a poor incitement to read the Seth books, but believe me when I say they are life changing and life affirming. Since verbal delivery of the Seth material through the trance chanel Jane Roberts was given at a slow speed to facilitate her husband taking the material down in longhand, it is difficult to listen to as ordinary conversation. Jane Roberts was very brave to present this material at a time when trance channeling was not universally accepted as it is today.

despite all the negative hype regarding jane and seth's wisdom: i read the books in the early 70s, they turned me onto esoteric ways of thinking and thence to alice bailey. what a trip it's been. here i am at 55 and still honing my ideas. i love it. pick up a copy of "ponder on this" by alice bailey.

This is such a great video! I've read much of the seth material and it leaves me with a good feeling but should be listened to carefully as it can seem complicated. I still find it interesting that the ones who call this "demon possession" are not calling it that from there own judgment but from what someone told them about demon possesion, i say to them, for one day, drop the ideas you've heard and listen with your heart! If you say no-way, than have a good day anyways.

Here i am again,yes, it's fascinating to see these vid's, i know the Seth books exist for along time, now i can see this woman for the first time myself, and i must say she makes the impression of someone being possessed with a dark entity. This is the result of playing with the occult, it always ends in tragedy.I know for SURE, that this demon has already told Jane that he is a demon and that she has been caught into a trap, and she won't get away anymore.
