@dmdt1313 Yeah dude, I totally feel that way too. I don't ever use solid states anymore! I was just saying that these digital effect pedals with a million different things in one box are good for players just starting out so that they have a lot of sounds to play with and so they can hear what they like and what they don't.
How do these things sound through headphones? I have good large driver headphones, and I need something for late night effects experimentation through headphones (I've been a guitar-amp-cab-mic guy all my life) for some weird new guitar and keyboard stuff I've been playing around with, and my vox amplug is not going to work for that.obviously....
i miss my old guitar and this vid make it worse i used to have a digitech rp50 i sold my setup because i didn't think i was going anywhere but i realized i was pretty good for novice
muy bueno es una pedalera buenisima como su guitarrista gracias a este video me ha dado suficiente informacion y me voy a comprar la digitech rp50 muchas gracias
Get better cables and build your sound one pedal at a time and get a decent amp. More expensive but in time your sound will be 1 million times better.
@JOHNBASS117111 I got my for 20 Bucks UNused at Musicstore YAAAY :D and i dont like it, i think it makes bunch of noise even when bypassed, it rips off lots of my tone when bypassed, and the overall quality is not the best..
It's nice to see there are still kids that like good music, somtimes I wish I could time travel back to 1982 (like uncle Rico) and relive the 80's over again. Lots of great 60's 70's and 80's music on the radio and classic muscle cars EVERYWHERE! and gas was around .60 a gallon! Enough about my midlife crissis, I just bought one of these pedals on ebay for $30.00 with shipping and judging by your demo I got ALOT for my money!
love this thing, except that its almost completely broken now. it keeps shutting down when i press the buttons and i can barely ever get it to turn on. when it works its great though. my stupid friend borrowed it and messed it up.
i wish you'd play more of the smiths covers! they sound amazing when you're just testing them! please :) you're so amazing at guitar.. i kind of have a mad crush on you.
How Soon Is Now. Fuck yeah. You always have awesome tastes in music. I came looking for a pedal review, and didn't realize it was you until I looked at the name.
Hey great video! Was setting #1 a preset by factory or did you tweak it?? Could you breakdown setting #1 if you did tweak it? I love that Stevie Ray Vaughan sound! I'm gonna guy buy one now!
Found your video as I was looking to see what this little box can do (considering buying one myself) I was more impressed by your range of playing from Sabbath to the Smiths. Way cool! Always keep learning new stuff.
@crownvvc4 you have the adapter for it right? it has no on switch once plug it in and put a cable in it will work mine doesn't work without a guitar cord pluged in
did i hear some voodoo child, sweet child of mine, paranoid, and message in a bottle? AND the SMITHS? dude...ett...u are officially awesome. You have excellent taste :) subbing
Ive had this pedal ever since i started playing guitar but my friend devin (Other lead guitarist) Has the 250 i think its called or 150 i know its something like that. But that one knocks this pedal on its ass but to get to the point can you show some of your settings cause i havent really messed with mine a lot like you have.
what the fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!????!!!!!!! that small petal is hat my grandma uses for her smal guitar that she doesnt even know how to play. I'd rather sit on a pile of needles and have my balls cut off and jump off a cliff then fucken by that petal. I could probably go garbage hunting and find 5 of those with notes that say heres bull shit.
Thanks for the demo. I just got a guitar yesterday and am going to go out and buy the RP50. I just wanted something cheap that would do some cool stuff, but I didn't know what it could do. That was awesome! Now, I just have to learn how to play the guitar. Very inspirational!
you can actually use a passive volume petal and plug a patch cable in to the out put of the volume petal, and then plug it in to the controler in jack. It explains this in the manual
its just newer, different stuff, both work the same, less bugs and stuff like that. the RP50 is OLD, i got mine 4 years ago and would KILL to get rid of it and get a proper amp.. these are only good for beginners, terrible while playing live.
That Grundge made my pl go mad. he bought it just cuz he could get it 10% cheaper, then it broke down, then he rips it apart trying to find a battery, then it been to repair 4 shops with no result, then i take and fix it in 5 minutes, then he lost it, then he finds that he had a AC block that could avoid all that problem from the start.
And to everybody in his vicinity, the sound of it was not so great.
i bought this pedal today second hand at a car boot sale for £5. i think it's great. eventualy i'm gonna get a big pedal board but i think it's realy good.
i'm looking to get one of these to take the place of pedals i don't have on my board, mostly my modulations... so is it possible to take off all the cab modeling and delay etc just to strip it down to JUST plain modulation? and what are all the modulation effects on this bad boy? lol
not bad. i was wondering, if your guitar dont have a whammy bar(i have a dean v x with a regular bridge), can you do divebomb like sounds or whatever? I have plans to get this pedal.

Is it possible to switch directly from f.r. flanger to distortion? Or all the effects are in unchangeable order? And does the pedal have delay?
