  • @MaicahRu

hehe thanks. Please don't sit close to the screen. Things might hit your face. ;-)

  • Awesome frame rate and HD quality

  • How the fuck did this get 59,000 views?!?!

  • i'll take that as a complement ;-)

  • thank you all for comments.. i heard Philips has stopped working on this TV. I guess technology is still maturing and it takes another one or two years for that perfect 3dtv to reach our home.

  • waste of my 3d time

    v3d.tv

  • this is -5d

  • cool television because it doesn't require the use of glasses anymore.

    ledtvscreens(dot)org

  • thats insane.. the graphics look almost as good as atari

  • Amazing video quality, I can almost see it is a television.

  • @jochemstoel xDDDDDDDD

  • @CAwmy :D Yeah, that was the only thing I could think of.

  • Man HDTV looks crap... no way am I forking out money for that.

Oh... hang on it's just the quality of the video that's crap.

  • so wrong.

  • You can't show the 3D TV on 2D monitor. Do you understood?

  • That's soo true.

    Very smart...

  • thats true. lol

  • I don't get it, whats the difference between a 3dtv and hdtv? Is it like some sort of a hologram tv or what?

  • hdtv has very high resolution, you can see clear images in it.

3dtv gives 3d images. Basically you can see things coming out of the screen towards you!

The technology used in this TV from Philips is not hologram. Its called some multilayer rendering. I do not know the details.

  • so if you move around can you see the image from different angles? if so that's really cool.

  • not so sure about that since you would need different camera filming at the same time on different angle but again im not sure, call me stupid lie seing a 3d movie with glasses on different angle you always see the same thing right

  • MAGIC

  • I saw today on stores! OMG!

  • i dondt see nothing...

  • that's because you're on a 2D monitor :P

  • I don't see the 3d of it but I believe you. There's some amazing!!!! upcoming technology around the corner.

  • video is captured as 2D.

Also the 3D effect created in the TV is kind of an illusion created using multiple rendering screens. You can see the 3D effect if you watch the TV directly.

  • Oh ok thanks for the info.

But can you see the 3D effect from every angle?

  • well, at present the product is not fully ready. I did not get a complete 3D view when viewed from the side. But people are working on it, hopefully we get to see a decent TV in a year.

  • Oh....

so what your showing us is almost like an almost complete prototype?

  • yes

  • LOL- how did it feel when you tried to touch it?

  • uhm u actually started to sound smart with all the angel viewing and prototype talk but then u just fell down to stupid after saying how did it feel when you touch it,

    just kidding xD

  • hah when i look back at this i laugh

  • Why is the effect not visible on video?

  • The video captured from my mobile is 2D.

Also the 3D effect created by the TV is an illusion, created using some screen rendering tricks. You get the 3D effect if you watch the TV directly.

  • your monitor is 2D of course so u cant see it. also the camera isn't recording in 3d
