  • loading your own ammo really saves you money than buying a finished ammo?

  • @laobunlee Yes. The Loadmaster or 1000 presses are cheap and will pay themselves off in about 1000 rounds fired. I just loaded 100 rounds of XTP based ammunition for about the price of 50, so it cuts your cost in half if you are producing premium jacketed rounds. This was built with all NEW components. The major expense of ammunition is the casing. I can reuse the 100 casing for another 4 loadings, so the next 4 batches will cost about the same as 20 rounds of premium factory.

  • @klmmicro Do you clean the brass or do you just use it

  • @762full Definitely clean the brass. I use Walnut shell for about 12 hours. I have tried running the press without cleaning and while it worked, I could feel that my LM was not running smoothly.

  • @klmmicro Could you instead just oil the cases/and toss them around a bit to make them smooth and feed well?

  • This is amazing!!! the thing i dont like about reloading is that it take so long, but this is so fast. im really jelous! how much did this cost?

  • you can buy a lee pro 1000 from Cabelas for around $159.99 plus tax and shipping.

they are all available right now, even with the current frenzy , they are bought in caliber specific , but you can buy a seperate shell plate for additional caliber ($39.99 from Midway USA )

  • now 23.99

  • Worth the cost?

  • Looks more than fast enough to me.
