With Chinese populations + everyone owning a car = giant parking lot. Beijing needs better public transit + even stricter controls on private car licensing.

O man this is even worse than the 3rd ring road lol. what beijing needs to do is serously jack up the vehicle license tax, something that Shanghai does and very well keeps its traffic down.
