You know the term "peaks and valleys"? This has been a valley year for me. This song came out not long after my dad died. He died on May 3rd. I made a choice to keep following God, even before my dad died, because I realized this would be a test of faith. This song helped me heal, & helped me be stronger. God blessed Natalie with this song, & has blessed me through her song. Continue to pray for my family! We have another family situation (that isn't good) rising up in our faces.

It's just been one of those years. Also someone who I thought would be my best friend forever (friends for almost 15 yrs.), decides to tell me she doesn't want to be friends anymore. I was blindsided by that. So, it's been a year that has tested my faith in great lengths, & made me rely on God only. People will fail me, but God NEVER will!

To understand the comment -"Not be moved" you have to picture something immovable. The bible uses pictures & things people can relate to so the message really sinks in. When something is on sand - even though it may have great weight to it (be a solid christian with firm convictions) even water can get under & wash its foundation away. But by standing/built on rock-the foundation remains unchangable. So she is saying her faith in God remains strong regardless of the hard times she has to endure.

Personally, I think she's saying that despite what may be thrown her way, it is her hope and desire that her faith will not be moved....sorta like Job....he had all kinds of problems and issues thrown his way, yet he never gave up his faith in God! :)

Hi. Not just about people putting her down but about Satan's attacks on her as well as the storms of life. As the story goes in the bible, her house is on a foundation of rock not sand so when that storm comes she will not be moved.
