Experimental evidence trumps theory. I and millions of other vegans, with NO nerve damage, who do not take supplements (because we have other things to think about and do in life than obsess about our health), are living proof vegans do not need supplements.
Sigh, can't we all just eat what we want to eat? I don't eat meat because I think that too many resources are put into a pound of meat compared to a pound of grain. I don't see why there is all this fuss over what people put into their own body.
@LucasI3434 Except for the fact that there are MILLIONS of vegans in the world, which proves that humans do NOT need meat.
=Some must die for others to live.=
Yet, if we passed a law that non-vegetarians should be executed to spare innocent animals, it is a fact that you would freak out and rant and demand the government change just because you'd want it to.
You had damned well better support poor people expending their OWN energy and using their OWN work to take resources and space from lazy rich people, because poor people need to survive well, too. Can you get that logical consistency through your head? But, of course not.
Mentally inferior shitheads like you cannot get the incredibly difficult concept that you are not a tiger and hence do not need to eat meat to live.
@mphello Except for the fact that we are omnivorous by nature and DO need certain vitamins and minerals found only in meat and animal products in order to sufficiently survive. Some must die for others to live.

@mphello There are approximately 5 million around the world, meaning they consist of less than a 1 thousandth of a percent of the world, and it far from proves your point. In fact, vegan diets lack a nutrient necessary to proper brain function: Vitamin B 12. The only way Vegans are able to gain this nutrient is through supplements which, over time, can cause adverse neural effects.
"A Law". There's a significant difference between consuming other animals and killing our own species.
"DO need certain vitamins and minerals found only in meat"
But these 5 million vegans prove you DO NOT. You have ZERO proof that ALL of them are taking supplements (some certainly do, but for any of a million other reasons).
You have ZERO medical scientific proof that vegans who don't take supplements
Quote: "It [Vitamin B 12] is not found in plants." "People who eat a vegan diet... may need to take a daily vitamin pill to get enough B 12..." depending upon if B 12 is "added to the food [plants] (fortified)."
natural-health-information-centre ( . ) com/vitamin-b12 ( . ) html Deficiency causes "...mental disturbances and various other nervous system dysfunctions... severe and permanent nerve damage."
Experimental evidence trumps theory. I and millions of other vegans, with NO nerve damage, who do not take supplements (because we have other things to think about and do in life than obsess about our health), are living proof vegans do not need supplements.
@mphello You're starting to sound like a creationist. STOP IT.
I lawl at your complete ignorance of science. Scientific theories USE experimental evidence in addition their cross applying, intricate, interwoven use of logic and scientific law to explain certain phenomena. Except in neither of those articles was it mentioned that this was a theory. All I read was that this was based solely on experimental data. Either you're lying, or you're just incredibly stupid, but my bet's on both.
@mphello Furthermore, you have no evidence to even suggest that they live their lives supplement free. Have you asked them? Can you point me to a study that says they DO take supplements OR eat plants that are fortified with the vitamin?
Your personal opinion and life doesn't count as experimental evidence. In order for something to be considered an experiment, must be able to be replicated in a controlled environment, and can make cause and effect judgments instead of correlational assumptions.
@mphello ...and have you gotten it checked to see if you DO have nerve damage? You can't just tell, and if you can, then it's most likely too late to do anything about it because it's permanent.
And if you still think 5 million people aren't taking or don't need B 12, here's a vegan website you can visit vegancoach ( . ) com/vegan-vitamin-B12 ( . ) html
@mphello First of all, it's PETA. So of course they aren't going to say it has risks because they're one of the most backwards activist groups of today. They end up killing 99% of the animals they take in, and their "information" is never connected to any footnotes or outside sources. Secondly, it's a "starter kit" meaning it only concerns itself with the beginnings of going vegan. B12 deficiency doesn't start showing significant effects until a few years, which by then, it's too late.
@mphello Thirdly, the only things this "kit" was concerned with was emotional heartstrings. Fourthly, getting information about Vegan-ism from PETA is like going to creation dot org in order to find information about biological science. It has their own personal biases added in to contort the evidence (if any is even provided) in order for their own agenda to look better.
@mphello Your argument is invalid. Saying that it's immoral for one animal to die so that another can live is just insane because of the fact that it's a natural event among all carnivorous animals. When a tiger pounces on a zebra, I'm pretty sure it's not good for the zebra, but that tiger has to eat! Am I getting through that thick skull of yours at all?
And clearly you cannot think logically. Not being a vegetarian, you cannot think about the situation at hand. Instead, you only pontificate about unrelated hypotheticals.
The choice when you choose to eat meat is not between animal A's death vs animal B's death. It is between BOTH A and B's death (the cow and the mole or vole you dig up to plow the earth) vs both A and B living.
@mphello And you need to look up what the word "pervert" means. I'm not fucking animals and it's not like I get some kind of sexual pleasure out of killing them...therefore I am, in no sense of the word, a pervert.
I'm not much of a fan of his to begin with, but I think the F in organic chem. Isn't that big of a deal. From what I've heard that class is pretty damn hard. My high school biology and chemistry teachers both had to take it twice because it was that hard. I also hear this class either makes or breaks people wanting to get into medical careers.
To be honest from the thumbnail i knew the pwnd bitch was coming up... For some reason in my mind I saw the music cutting away and something simmilar to the mortal combat voice saying Pwnd bitch kinda like the finish him voice... You need to make this happen and re upload the video with it O.O

Meat's not healthy for the animal you needlessly breed and murder because you're too selfish to eat something else instead.

@mphello Then explain to me why humans have carnivorous and herbivorous teeth, making us omnivorous meaning we are adapt to eat plants and animals.
