What irresponsible commentary! John Edwards did NOT take a political contribution from Rupert Murdoch. Its subsidiary Harper Collins published his book Home; all proceeds were directed to charitable foundations.
John is attacked because he dares to stand up to mega-corporations like Rupert Murdoch. He is 100% correct: Rupert Murdoch's controlling consolidation of American news is NOT healthy. Democracy is as healthy as the free and open exchange of information. Go, John, go!
