hii! im so happy to see your pet octopus. how did you decide on a species? i am a student at harvard and designing an experiment to test octopus intelligence. would a 55 gallon tank be big enough? any info you can provide is very helpful, ive had lots of freshwater tanks, but this will be my first salt water

Nope, no need to. Octopus Filosus only grows 30cm arm length, 7cm mantle length. A 75 gallon tank is more than sufficient.
