@TheDARIEN54321 Actually the original M4 Sherman had a 75mm gun. This was upgraded to the 76mm only when it became apparent that the original 75mm was unable to penetrate the armor of the Panther and Tiger tanks at most ranges.

They made everything there, it was crazy. Parachutes, tanks, ships (I think mainly destroyers), uniforms, bullets, guns, planes. The soviets still have over 5,000 working T34's stored in underground salt mines just in case they are ever needed again. Their point of view is that the limited numbers of modern tanks on both sides will be destroyed quickly in a war so why not flood the battlefield with tanks even thou they may be outdated.

If the USSR didnt have the T-34 it would have lost the war, thus ending the eastern front, and after that the UK would have been invaded, like a german D-day, and then the world would have been dominated by the Reich. Armor makes all the difference in Tank combat. the Sherman and the T-34 may have had the same armor thickness, but the T-34's slanted armor increased it's protection and it's wide tracks made it a far more ideal cross-country fighter. you have made no points to state the Sherman was better, which means you have no response. so do some research yourself,

@TheDARIEN54321 Actually the original M4 Sherman had a 75mm gun. This was upgraded to the 76mm only when it became apparent that the original 75mm was unable to penetrate the armor of the Panther and Tiger tanks at most ranges.

They made everything there, it was crazy. Parachutes, tanks, ships (I think mainly destroyers), uniforms, bullets, guns, planes. Their point of view is that the limited numbers of modern tanks on both sides will be destroyed quickly in a war so why not flood the battlefield with tanks even thou they may be outdated.

Also, U.S guns/ammo weren't designed for harsh Winters as Russian guns were. Via Lend Lease, we only helped in sending the Bell P39 Aircobra which could fly well in cold weather, but that plane was inferior to the BF 109.We surely didn't send them many tanks.

They supplied the Germans with food, metals and above all fuel all through 1940 when Hitler was overunning France and bombing Britain. They never supplied Britain with anything. The Americans did. If the USSR didnt have the T-34 it would have lost the war, thus ending the eastern front, and after that the UK would have been invaded, like a german D-day, and then the world would have been dominated by the Reich. So without the T-34 we would have had a pan-german world, not a pan-american world like the one that is now.
