This remix is a neat idea, but poorly executed. Midon's guitar riff, which is the most interesting part of the song, doesn't even begin to sync up with the drum kit. This is because it's not in a simple 4/4 like every other piece of pop on FM radio. The result sounds like somebody hammered a square peg into a round hole.
