@andell1 Well andell1 I'm sure you have a HUGE experience in public services, especially security and EVEN MORE bouncing - dealing with drunk nuisances 24/7, people starting fights, starting on you, stealing, causing problems. You've experienced all that? My guess is no, so until you do you cannot comment or critize this guy for what he did at all.

@MrBumboclart Yeah...just like I can't criticize the guy who shot a bouncer dead...or the asshole (allegedly working security at a surfing event) who broke a guys surfboard over his knee, or the bouncer who was charged with kidnapping and assault, right?

And so what you security? Doing what exactly? Because for all I know that could be 'wallmart security' or 'security guard for a car park'. Handing out parking tickets and dealing with drunk violents people 24/7 are TWO very different things.

@andell1 You really don't. Personally I think if the bouncer was taking shit from that guy AND THEN the guy strikes the bouncer does he not have the right to defend himself?
I mean jeez it's not as if he brutally attacked him, he hit him like twice? then restrained him? i've seen a lot worse and either way this dude was totally in the right.
what would the courts say? that the drunk guy was, 1 - drunk and disorderly, 2 - public nuisance, 3 - assaulted the door staff. not the bouncers fault.
