We have Gatehouse paper in Freeport, Illinois and recently a local blogger uncovered that an "above the fold" front page story was faked. Fake front page news. Look up the blog, it is called the Stephenson Blumdoggle and the newspaper name is the Journal-Standard. Fake news is headline news at Gatehouse media. All about the advertiser, forget about the truth. I agree Gatehouse sucks.

I called their "corporate" last week because I can't change my blog name. She took my phone number to call be back. No help from the Rockford paper and no help from GateHouse corporate. We only have one daily paper here.
