And what about his counter, which can be a short range projectile? And what about his laser that can actually travel across the screen? Play ppl who actually knows how to use him. Falco has amazing chain grab that can end into spike and is inescapable on everyone except Marth (able to up b escape) and extremely floaty characters. Hey, do any of you guys know how to do the moves shown in the video at 0:17 and 0:20 with the wii remote and nunchuk? I always try to figure out the nunchuk's position and buttons, but I really don't know.

I personally prefer Falco here from Melee. In Melee he was almost indentical to Fox except in a few aspects like his jumping ability, his blaster and his reflector but now he seems totally different.

I still have to say he's nerfed in Brawl. No more stationary deflector means he can't juggle with the down throw and the change in his forward smash is poor. The kick has more knockback compared to the hand chop.
I'm a Falco player and I know for a fact if Melee Falco went against Brawl Falco, the Melee version would come out on top. The throw setups he has and the spike are far superior to the Brawl version. Of course, this does not go without saying both of the players are equally skilled.

Not quite, more like 3/4, his smashes play very differently than foxes.
For your average casual player they'll see mostly a clone, but for anyone who mains Fox Falco or Wolf, you can see the differences bewteen them quite well.
yea i think fox is more of a average fighter n is easy to get used to n falco is more for a skillful fighter n is a bit better n wolf is the most skillful you can get. wolf has some great combos n has some great moves you just have to practice and get better with him if you dont like wolf. its kind of like ness n lucas ludas is more of a skill character n ness is more of a average fighter

He always jumped higher than anyone else. Try it on Melee. The one thing that they may have tried to downplay was his reflector, which he can't sustain anymore. But I think it's pretty neat.
Falco is really cool, but i think it's pretty fucked up that there are three land masters, i think they should have addded starfox's jetplane for falco since he's the pilot and everything...
They are different in the sense that some attacks are more powerful and more effective then others. For instance, Falco's down A move is more powerful then Fox's and you'd combo differently with it.
fox and falco are same, but strong and velocity are different in their attacks, I sucks playing with fox but I play very good with falco, cause I prefer force in the attacks on speed, thats the difference, and the way you see it, they are some kind different
What about Dr Mario in melee? He was the same as mario. And Ganondorf and Capt. Falcon? That was Nintendo being lazy. Falco and Fox at least makes sense.

i'm in aus and don't have brawl yet but from what you could do in melee i'm thinking that the reflector kick would be really good after a series of midair combos when the opponent is off the stage not as a meteor smash but just to disable their jump
But on the other hand because his reflector has some range you can reflect the attack faster, giving you a higher likelihood that you will reflect and hit the opponent attack.
for wolf, he cood lik, summon leon and panther and they could lik shoot up the field in their wolfens then at the end they accidently shoot each other and chrash ending the smash...hey! its better than givin him a landmaster!

I'd be using Falco a lot more in Brawl if they had not replaced his neutral aerial. His new nair really blows in Brawl. Thank God they kept his down aerial spike though.
What I meant with the previous comment was that Falco's and Fox's attacks LOOKED similar in melee. I was aware of the fact that their attacks had different effect and that Falco jumps higher, Fox is faster, etc...
But now that they've given them different movements they seem more fun to play.
oh come on that's just tiny differences that you'd only care about for tournaments or competitions. they were quite clones: exactly the same moves in melee, but just with little effects that change for some of the moves. If I follow your reasoning though, it would mean that young link and link are very different. I agree with the differences you suggested, but saying that they're "very different" is kinda exagerated^^ now they're very different in brawl

Ya but like Mario's apparant "Abuse" on his down Special "Tornado" They nerfed it so people wouldn't abuse it too much. Falco jumps higher than most characters so he could just hoar the move. But he's still my best character in Brawl!! =D

He always jumped higher than anyone else. Try it on Melee. The one thing that they may have tried to downplay was his reflector, which he can't sustain anymore. But I think it's pretty neat.

They are different in the sense that some attacks are more powerful and more effective then others. For instance, Falco's down A move is more powerful then Fox's and you'd combo differently with it.

fox and falco are same, but strong and velocity are different in their attacks, I sucks playing with fox but I play very good with falco, cause I prefer force in the attacks on speed, thats the difference, and the way you see it, they are some kind different

What about Dr Mario in melee? He was the same as mario. And Ganondorf and Capt. Falcon? That was Nintendo being lazy. Falco and Fox at least makes sense.
Moreover if your gonna say something, don't make every other word an expletive, coz it's annoying.

i'm in aus and don't have brawl yet but from what you could do in melee i'm thinking that the reflector kick would be really good after a series of midair combos when the opponent is off the stage not as a meteor smash but just to disable their jump

But on the other hand because his reflector has some range you can reflect the attack faster, giving you a higher likelihood that you will reflect and hit the opponent attack.

for wolf, he cood lik, summon leon and panther and they could lik shoot up the field in their wolfens then at the end they accidently shoot each other and chrash ending the smash...hey! its better than givin him a landmaster!

hmmm falco shoud hav diff final smash they changed him so much (in a good way) then way not go all the way and change the final smash? it coud be something lik snakes
he jumps on his arwing and it flies to the bak than as it flies bak you can shoot ppl with the laser cannons and it lasts i duno maybe 15-20 sec and the shots cood do 10-15 damage i mean it suits falco and plus he sorta did something lik that in SSE wen he shoots at bowser savin fox and diddy

i know...i liked his normal reflector. But i don't play with him anyways. But you can't do his grab down b-down combo anymore cause of the reflector. But at least hes not as mush clone anymore.

I'd be using Falco a lot more in Brawl if they had not replaced his neutral aerial. His new nair really blows in Brawl. Thank God they kept his down aerial spike though.

I think Falco looks cooler in this game.
In Melee there wasn't much that separated Fox and Falco, but now Falco has got his own combat-style that suits his personality.
he doesnt look like a parrot anymore either.

i find what you said to be very false.
He may look cooler in this game to you, i respect that opinion. BUT, in Melee, Fox and Falco we're very different.
Fox was faster at to running.
Fox's Up+B took you WAY further than Falco's did.
Their Down+B (or "shine" move) we're different, Falco Shined the enemy Upwards while Fox Shined in the direction he was facing (left or right).
Falco's Down+A move was Significantly stronger that Fox's (Fox's Down+A just drilled into them, Falco's SMASHED downward)

What I meant with the previous comment was that Falco's and Fox's attacks LOOKED similar in melee. I was aware of the fact that their attacks had different effect and that Falco jumps higher, Fox is faster, etc...
But now that they've given them different movements they seem more fun to play.

oh come on that's just tiny differences that you'd only care about for tournaments or competitions. they were quite clones: exactly the same moves in melee, but just with little effects that change for some of the moves. If I follow your reasoning though, it would mean that young link and link are very different. I agree with the differences you suggested, but saying that they're "very different" is kinda exagerated^^ now they're very different in brawl

I find that once you've mastered either fox or falco, its difficult playing as the other.
The only thing that makes them "the same" is their attack animations. But their same attacks have different effects.
