I swear white cats with blue eyes have the tendency to be deaf, not blind.

True,my cat is white with blue eyes, and she's born deaf.

White cats with blue eyes are often deaf, but well, not mine fortunately. We tested to know it, and she is no blind. :)

White coat with blue eyes is sometimes an indicator that a dog or cat is deaf. A friend of mine has a deaf dog that responds to many commands in sign language.
