  • I have Tourette's pretty mildly in comparison, But do you experience things like your head constantly wanting to turn to one side while trying to sleep, or you can get comfortable unless you are straining your neck muscles to an awkward position? My left arm flails wildly and my head jerks to each and every way. I would very much appreciate your input.

  • @DanielPowell357 I have had those tics. I also have a video of me trying to sleep while having tics. However do not be surprised if your tics change, stop at new times and even allow you to sleep and then change again. Tourettes changes and stays the same with some tics as apposed to others.

  • @fautheral What are you saying is fake?

  • I have panic attacks incase some people don't know what those are, you feel scared and sometimes I feel like I can't breath. My doctor has me on medicine to control the attacks, is their any medicine that can calm down the tourettes that you have? I can tell you a story before I got on the right medicine my wife and I went out and all of a sudden I started to panic, people thought I was crazy. They didn't understand what I was going threw, my cop friend new what was going on.

  • i think i could manage to , its not like people with disorders arnt humans :) there just the same and most of the are ver nice people :P

  • My boyfriend has tourettes. It doesn't bother me, personally I like dating people with flaws because it gives them a lot of character. I like him for who he is, and I'm not like the rest of the shallow girls at school who would just judge before getting to know someone.

  • Well mate that seems fucked up to deal with. Good luck and apart from the tics its clear you are a nice person, just sayin som words of confidence havea good life.

  • @4Brownie4 Tourettes could be an advantage when it comes to conveying confidence if that is what people are attracted to, because people might think that confidence despite tics is remarkable and therefor very noticeable.

I would have to find someone less confident than myself who has tics in order to compare notes.

  • Personally Jonah, I went through many guys cause of my 'unusual' personality. I just dont hold still, i get moody, pissy, set in my way, lol. Not sure i can say that's severe tourettes or just me, lol. Im currently cohabiting with another, but not in a real relationship, its too much stress, when i cant STOP IT...with tics, both physical and vocal. I think not remembering much from autistic traits is the real hard part for others to accept. I forget what im doing as i go to do it. oh well :)

  • Jonah seems like a genuinely nice guy. Thanks for sharing. I wouldn't mind working with someone like that; people just need to understand. Cheers mate.

    tpj

  • We sleep in seperate rooms though because I flail, head jerk, and "bark" in my sleep.

  • I have moderate to severe tourette's depending on the day, the month, my stress level, etc. One tic I have is I jerk my arm uot, as if trying to pop my elbow. Another one is that I flick my wrist. I went to a restaraunt to meet my date's family and my wrist flicked, which made the rib in my hand go flying across the table and land on his uncle's plate. Later I jerked my arm and hit the waitress. I felt terrible and was so embarassed. We're married now though, so I think he's okay with it.

  • I would date someone with tourettes. I think it would beecome a norm. I have dermatillomania, which is where you constantly pick at your skin. its less noticable of course, but I do get some odd questions about my ocd and such.

  • Is this guy for real? o.o WOOOOOO!

  • is there something that trigger the Tourettes ?? like a word, or an action?? and is it possible for you to suppress it (by it i don't mean the syndrome as whole but i mean can you suppress one tic) ? i am trying to understand what it is about, met a friend who has Tourettes and if you can give me some advice on what NOT to do or say !

  • @kr8or In my case it is good not to imitate my tics, especially if I am already imitating others because you can already see that what people do is a trigger. O Other than that It varies from person to person with Tourettes. If a person with Tourettes can suppress tics, they tend to get worse and erupt much worse later & that can't be suppressed forever. I've injured myself when a friend led other friends to imitate me howling, but he knew better & had for years. the injury was hours later.

  • @kr8or I also avoid talking next to your friend about his or her tics for an extended time with strangers. If strangers don't understand quickly they will not choose to or may not be able to understand after a long discussion. Some of my friends have told me they are sick of hearing about my Tourettes & then discussed my tics a few feet away from me for 20- 45 minutes at least at poetry venues like an animal in cage discussed by Zoo spectators.

  • @JonahTorn got it, thank you for taking the time to explain

  • @kr8or You are very welcome.

  • @kr8or i have it. and their no cure but their is medication to calm it a little.

you cant fully stop it but if u try real hard. then it might stop one little tick. theirs only 1 type of it but u can have different ones like sceaming. face jerks. and eyes twiching or more or all of the above

  • @kr8or sometimes certain words or sounds can set off a tick, doctors say not to try and stop a tick when it comes because it can make it worse, if thats wat u mean?

  • @sylar1989 ah ok, well ya that was what i was wondering, also for example if we are hanging out, is there some words and sounds i can avoid to not cause a tic, or its just unkown sounds ?

  • @kr8or some times they r random sounds and sometimes there copyed sounds 4 example if some1 turns a light on or off i copy the click sound. tourettes comes in all different types so i wouldnt know, the best way is to ignore it and try not to draw any attention to it most people that have touretts prefer to just let the tics happen and ignore them instead of every 1 having to tip toe around it not saying certain words or sounds they feel much more comfortable.

  • @kr8or i find that when im relaxed and comfortable just haning out with friends i dont tic as much.

  • wow u should smoke weed or some take some meds to calm u down.

  • @Redrumhydro I felt fairly calm in this video. Maybe a bit shy about the subject, but that was not affecting my tics at the time. (at least not that is not how I remember it.)

  • @JonahTorn I have seen cannabis do wonder for people with multiple sclerosis tics. Personally they do not bother me, but I do know they can be painfull on the neck and back. Nearly every med they give for it has about as bad side effects or worse then touretts to start with

  • I do not have Tourettes and have actually never MET anyone with it. I have no impairments or disabilities, but my husband has a functioning Autism.

Would I date someone with Tourettes? Probably. After having grown up with people who had various impairments, I'm incredibly patient and at times over protective.

For those who have Tourettes, what kind of dating do you do? (internet or in person) And do you prefer to date others w/ Tourettes? Or does it matter?

  • yo dude, i just wanted to say thank you for posting this. tourettes is a disorder that is not always taken seriously. I can tell you are extremely courageous, and an inspiration for anybody afflicted with a neuropsychiatric disorder. keep on keepin' on, my man.

  • i feel you brother hows the tics now are they minor or worsed?

  • @henk0909 I get worse than i this video and better. My tics wax and wane even in the same day through out a day in block of hours or even days.

  • @JonahTorn i am specialist with people with disorders en handicapts. so i advise you to get specialists help so ask someone that is specialised in tourettes

i really feel you good luck dude

  • @henk0909 I used to be able to find information that at least mention mute Touretttes, but now I ave trouble finding information on it. Do you know anything about mute Tourettes?

  • @JonahTorn you can atleast do something that isnt mentioning stress. i know people with tourette are nonstopping ticking when they are stressfull like when they talk with friend etc

try so hard as you can controlling it . i helped a person with tourette and gave him a tip. try fighting it with a elestic rope put it on youre wrisp and when you feel a tic coming pull it and shoot it to youre whrisp, because you give youre body and mind something else to think about ;-)

  • @henk0909 I group obstacles together in my mind that I want to avoid so my tics are not triggered by seeing them so I can avoid not just thinking of the tic but the sufraces I may punch or my head on. The more I avoid having to think of actual tics the better I am at not triggering more. I if think of what to avoid as a list without imagining the tic itself, the less I think avoid the table you slam your head. I just think avoid the table a list of what to avoid. No action toward only away.

  • @JonahTorn i cant give you any advise because i dont know you . i mostly advise my clients after i know them really good if i know there tics and knowing how they react to simular medication

my only advise for you for now is to call a specialist in youre region

good luck brother and try to give youreself a pressent if you can avoid tics for like 15 minutes (if you are ready) a advise from a friend :-)

  • ok....I know i'll be the one to get hate comments for this....but c'mon....I know i'm not the ONLY one that laughed at this...let me clarify by saying, I am in NO way making fun of this man for having this disability.....but C'MON.....you have to admit it IS a little funny....just the actions....and I know people are just trying to be nice and sympathetic by saying all these "I think I could date someone with tourettes" and "you are brave by being able to cope"...i'm not gonna lie...I laughed...

  • @PSO307 Actually I often avoid having a sense of humor on youtube because people will call me a fake and it is actually take so seriously. I put up a video called retard using an example of scripture that said not to curse the deaf or pt a stumbling block in front of the blind and got comments about not having a sense of humor. My example people harmed in what they could not perceive! The deaf can't hear the curse the blind can't see the block and then they get hurt. That is not just joking!

  • @PSO307 Tics can look humorous. If you tic long enough & do a new tic, chances are you will eventually laugh. On youtube I can't have tics wax & wane without people calling me a fake. Can you imagine what would happen if I laughed? It is actually cruel to say "Never laugh or you must be a fake" to someone who can't control noises they make.

  • It's a wonderful thing you're doing for others out there with tourettes. If it wasn't for the internet, youtube, and you, I'm sure many who have it would feel quite alone. Keep up the great work, I can see by the many comments, that you're helping a lot of people. You have purpose in your life, I envy you.

  • @kat4u2luv Thank you. I also have poems on other themes.

  • i dont think id mind i mean im understanding of others shure id bet it could be a challenge but id deal with it if i was dating someone with tourettes

  • I have a mild stuttering problem and I thought that was the worst thing in the world to have. becoz I stutter it does make it difficult to date but now that I see how tourettes are. I gotta say it there are some things far worst then stuttering.. I will pray for you brother. Safety and Peace.

  • i have mild tourettes ocd and add. its unreal. im on a fine line at work because because i have a snorting tic and always clearing my throat, ignorant ppl think im using cocaine.

  • @chuckybananas Have you looked into the ADA laws with the EEOC or the department of Justice website? You could email me privately about where you work if you feel comfortable sharing that. Is it people you work with giving you a hard time (like a boss or a coworker) or is it customers? Feel free to email me and if you want I will remove this comment encouraging you to email me.

  • i have has a small tic my whole life and was fine with it up untell a month ago where i was told i have TS (it only took three ER and everyone of them thinking im on drugs to find out!

i have been with my girlfriend for 3 years and thing right now have been REALLY hard she asked me to move because because she needed more space and she still think some of it im making up! i love her to death but being with some right now is vary hard

  • is there anyway to get rid of tourrets

  • @helloimearl1 No. Tics may get better, but there is no cure.

  • @JonahTorn Do you mean there is no known cure now or there can be no cure? Amazing video, by the way.

  • i have mild tourettes and i hate it. I don't know if it is why im having trouble dating but it could be. The severity of my tourette's changes. Sometimes its very good and i can control it, but sometimes it takes over and i wont be able to move until i complete a tic. Its really wierd. I cant imagine how it would be like to have severe like yours. Take care my friend and i wish you good luck :)

  • @MegaPascal31 I have had those experiences & I find I have to finish thoughts as well. Other wise tics explode. It makes for bad listening despite the desire to listen and it looks like I think the way I speak. I find that I have to say the thought pushing through and then explain what I am thinking backward. I often did not mean to start any conversation, but everyone thinks. Poetry can start with fear & then say why your afraid, say your sad & show shy 2nd, so I really like poetry,

  • @JonahTorn I always love hearing ways that people use to cope :)

  • @JonahTorn Nah man. I've got nothing against anybody with disabilities, and I am not questioning yours (because of our whole discussion). I only called bs cause i didn't know you had so many videos, and that this was all so legit. You're just pulling the guilt trip strings so people see things your way. Like i said, i am sorry for jumping to premature conclusions, but you got to give this rest. It is you who is trying to intimidate people into being overly sensitive, and censor others.

  • @MrPudster1 I removed a lot of the comments to be fair to you. I wanted to make sure I drew a line in the sand because of other comments I received, specifically from atheists. Some religious people leave wild comments too. I have actually been told I am demon possessed. It is kind of funny sometimes, in a sad way, but you had one of the few comments clean enough to leave up. I also have to be careful with my Tourettes friends because of coprographia (I know almost nothing about that).

  • @MrPudster1 I removed a lot of the comments to be fair to you. I wanted to make sure I drew a line in the sand because of other comments I received, specifically from atheists. • @MrPudster1 I wonder what would be a better way to address comments in the future. You actually were tame. That is why I did not remove the originally comment right away and responded instead. Usually comments are simpler. like calling me a retard or even saying I should die. Actually I am more patient with those comments because I do not know what condition may be behind them & I do not want to poke that bear.

  • @MrPudster1 I am concerned about becoming others business because of my TS (Tourettes). People seem to have many different problems with the condition when they see it's symptoms. Telling them some tics are so rare (like cussing) that people with TS do not understand how someone can have that problem themselves. I have seen very nasty comments on videos where a kid has a cussing tic from people who have TS. They act like they know what a real tic looks like even though that varies. Strange.

  • Why do think people are like that? I can see how you could think I am an actor from one video, & not even mean I did anything wrong. Context can be hard to find on youtube. People with TS vary in fairness to certain tics in part because they can get flack for tics they do not have. This is just true. If you look at comments (even factoring in out right fakes) you will find a lot of comments from

TS suffers complaining that other people with TS give them a bad name.

  • After a point I leave aside all the various views once I find one exists, however rarely, that is common enough to be interesting. Sometimes I like to guess if there are other over lapping conditions with TS like Aspergers. Not because I want to suggest this out loud, but because I am a poetry, and imagining perception, missing perceptions, crossing senses are fun to imagine describing.

But I can go by definition or by real experience. The possibilities are fun.

  • @WhoisJacqueFresco: Vilayanur Ramachandran's videos would explain this better. When I see people move I feel the tic response forced through me even if I manage to fight the tic. If I force tics not to happen (assuming I can at all) ther get much worse. But my comments have strayed from the topic of the video.

  • BTW once the video is done loading all the way. Play the video from the beginning.

    then

PRESS 7 ON YOUR KEYBOARD WAIT 2 SECONDS THEN PRESS 1.

MAKE SURE YOU PRESS THE NUMBERS ABOVE THE LETTERS OK.

  • Was i the only one who started shaking their head back and forth while watching this guy?

  • I only realized now that I'm debating with the uploader of this video. I really am sorry if I offended you. I'm wrong for calling you out IF this is legit. But this doesn't change my stance in our arguement. And hey, this is why you tube has a comment option.

  • I think he is a really good actor. Too good an actor! that's why i'm calling bs on this one.

  • eh looks like hes possessed

  • Don't have tourettes, but to me it shouldn't matter. What a person has inside means more than what is phsycially on the outside. I've always been able to look past anyone's handicaps to see what beautiful things live within one's soul. People are affraid of what is different, but that difference is actually what makes us so uniquely beautiful.

  • How could girls resist you? You look like one of my favorite actors, Sean Astin, and that's awesome!

  • @ericsterwerf I hear that from my family all the time. I am also short so I used to get hobbit jokes even before the Lord of the RIngs movies.

  • I think you are smart guy and yes if I love the person with severe tourette I would be able to cup with it.

  • i have never know anny one that has tourettes but i can hate anny one for somthing that they can cuntroe. if people cant look past that well then that are dum.

  • @tiger0869 I have known people with Tourettes who had to tell me they had Tourettes because they had tics rarely or they weresubtle. Some have severe tics in childhood, but less in adulthood. Tics may even fade away over the years, but one would have to be with someone all the time to confirm that, until we learn how to see that improvement in the brain &/or body (by we I do not mean we, but doc's, scientists, someone really incredibly clever ect..) it's hard to say tics ever go away

  • I am 26 and was diagnosed as a child, I went through severe verbal tics in elementary school. Not quite as bad as yours but I was always cussing or saying exactly the most inappropriate things that came to mind. Perhaps it is all the years of dealing with myself and my own tics, but there is no doubt in my mind that I could date someone with bad tourettes! So far the closest I have come to that is dating women with severe OCD

  • You have a laser on your head!

  • I know nothing about this disease, but does ritilin help?

  • @TheJommie It is hard to prove anything really helps since Tourettes waxes and wanes. Even if I was better for a time on anything my experience may not be what I make of it and it could be a matter of time before I get worse. Doctors may be able to evaluate information like that.

  • @JonahTorn yeah I have seen quite a few of your videos, what I met he doesn't really have vocal tics very much.... We've only been going out for about a month so tourettes is still pretty new to me...

  • I have Tourettes and I would not put up with people laughing at me.

  • @MrDeCorey In your experience, have you noticed that people with Tourettes are very good looking? Maybe that should be part of the diagnostic criteria.

  • Jonah I like your poetry and from your personality. You seem to have a very strong constitution to be able to manage your TS. On the dating issue, I'm certain its likely a difficult thing. Heck its difficult enough without the added consideration of TS. I don't have TS so I can't comment from that perspective...but two elements always remain regardless of circumstance... speak the truth and don't try to be someone you're not. I sense your TS as actually given you a lot of confidence.

  • @Tonehook Nope! it is not my Tourettes that gives me my confidence. It is actually being good looking as sin, my poetry and my overwhelming humility that gives me my confidence.

  • FAT FUCKING STUPID MOTHERFUCKER PISSSSSSSSSSS COMING FROM MY ASSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • Jonah I agree, the State Hospital had everything you can think of when I worked there in '74 & '75. Back then imagine what medicine had not yet discovered with Tourettes.

If you lived near me it would be nice to be friends. Your noises would not bother me and if people around us looked, big deal. So how have you been? Bob

  • i deal with tourettes in my fiances house all the time. my fiance and his brother and sister have it. it can be hard

  • @payitred Wow. That is a lot of people in the same family.

  • It's not funny that people have tourrettes it's funny what they say, because if u r walking down the street and there's someone swearing u cant help but laugh

  • @njf97 Most people with Tourettes do not have the tic that makes them cuss (although being caught off guard by tics could elicit that response). That tic is named coprolalia. On the list of reactions, laughing is not the worst, but the less the person with Tourettes has to think about the tics, the easier it may be (in some cases) to have less of them. It is not a matter, in those cases, of needing a sense of humor.

  • @njf97 By th way when I said "It is not a matter, in those cases, of needing a sense of humor." OI knew you never suggested that people with Tourettes need to get a sense of humor. I was taking an idea that began as a response to you and moved the idea forward to benefit those who read the comments. In other words I was guessing what some people may need to read.

  • DUDE TOURETTE IS CAUSED BY TO MUCH SUGAR AND SODA. RELAX ON THE SUGAR DUDE AND YOU WIL STOP THIS CRAZINES

  • 0:15 l0llll sorry dude but thats just funny

  • @cadmaster6 I laugh at my own tics sometimes. The hard part is I am with friends who join in to make me feel better or because it looks fun, not realizing that seeing imitated tics and hearing vocal tics (fake or not) can trigger more tics. Involuntary movement and noises can really hurt and it is not fun to have them become worse. I have friends in the art community & poets who never seem to get this & inly seem to imitate my tics when I can barely talk, so it is hard to get them to stop.

  • My boyfriend has tourettes not near as bad as you but still...

  • Thats the worst ive seen :[

    Can you drive?

  • @RoyalG13 I am not always that bad and sometimes I'm worse, but i do not have tics while I am driving, so yes.

  • FAKE

  • FAKE

  • hahahahaha LMAO u fukin retard!!

  • @freddy0052 : BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING! : one day YOU might be a victim of an accident - maybe damaging some of YOUR nerves ... then you will understand that this has nothing to do with beeing retarded! RETARDED ARE YOUR WAYS OF THINKING !

  • he is faking it dam tard his shakey head would be good for some guys dick

  • @Idespisechristians : feeling sorry for you and your ignorance and how retarded YOU are thinking that way ... science and the knowledge of illnesses have developed - YOU NOT !

  • he is faking it dam tard

  • tourettes, lol!

  • hey i have tourettes too and also am curious. im 21

  • @samhight47 Are you curious about dating with Tourettes, what people without Tourettes think of dating a person with Tourettes, about being 21, about the condition of Tourettes itself. ect......? If I get my camera working again, I want to know what will generate discussion in videos.

  • if I had tourettes, I'd probably say " let me grab TITS! Ilike TITS! No COCK! VAGINA!

  • @Tonysmaman If you had that tic you would say what you don't want to say. You may also shout something funny or that you wouldn't regret shouting out, but eventually you would shout it out when you do not want to, when those words don't convey what you want on any level & even have the words triggered by situations that relate: as in saying the "n" word when you see someone who has dark skin. So it is not just a matter of words mom's raise kids not to say; it is what you do not want to say!

  • JAJAJA DUDE. YOU ARE TO FUNY DUDE

  • Hey i have tourettes too, No lie i have had them for a while since the 1st grade my teacher knew i had them becuase her husband has them... i would love to talk about this topic... if you ever have time

  • @TheBlackeye9 Do you want to talk about Tourettes and dating or just Tourettes in general?

  • Is this real?

  • @SJPatrik Are you talking about my Tourettes tics or the topic of the video. If you mean my tics (that is what people usually mean) then yes this is real, and if you mean anything else about the video, everything put into the video was real.

  • @JonahTorn Ok Sorry if I'd to ask. How is your life with sever tourettes? Are you able to work etc?

  • finding ppl wanting to date others with severe form of ts seems in my opinion kinda low. it seems to be a difficult problem to deal with. i have ts and its pretty severe i havnt found ne meds that work yet

  • dude - you're just fine...just keep being your natural and beautiful self and you will find someone equally as beautiful - both outside and more importantly, inside...

  • @motthead69 Oh, Don't worry about me anyway, this video is for anyone who wants to talk about Tourettes and dating besides me. I just set the forum to talk this time, as a response to an email.

  • i dated a girl with tourettes, we broke up over something silly, i never met anyone with tourrettes before her. at first it was challenging but she was a beautiful person, i had learned to switch off from the tics and cussing if she insulted me i used to laugh which made us both laugh, end of the day i knew it was an unintetional compulsion.

  • Omg i feel so bad for you .

  • @KnijperOpJeBeeld Why? Theres is no reason to worry about me; or were you replying to another persons comment? This video is for anyone with Tourettes who dates, but not about me at all. I'm'doing just fine.

  • @JonahTorn By the way it is easy to be ok with this condition if your really good looking. As you can tell it is easy for me to be ok with my condition.

  • I know how that feels but once I got into college people were so much more tolerant and I've had many dates. Be yourself and if people can't accept your tics they're not worth another thought!! I find that the more open and less anal I am about my tics the more people accept it. Though my case isn't so sever anymore it's very mild now and I'm going off my meds little by little C:

  • Just a littlle bit difficlut to understand and follow you when you talk, but it's very interesting!

  • i dated a guy with tourettes....he was very sweet and kind, but we didnt work out. he had a very minor case though, i think. he just blinked alot and sometimes hummed....best of luck to you :-)

  • ...lmao HAHAHAHAHAH

  • @JMetalify I hope you get Tourette syndrome and experience this for yourself.

  • @ForgottenXLegend

Now why would you ever wish a curse upon anouther person? That's an absolutely horrible thing to do, you want to ruin someone's life for the sake of proving a point?

You're just the worst type of person, aren't you?

  • ForgottenXLegend I posted a question on JMetalify's channel asking him avout his comment "lmao HAHAHAHAHAH" :Would you mind letting me know what Imao stands for?" he neve replied so I thought I would post the question to you or anyone else who wants to answer my question.

  • @JonahTorn

Wow dude, I'm not on youtube 24/7. Give me a break hhaha. You wait 7 hours and call me a coward. Sorry, but I'm not on youtube as often as you so don't say I won't reply.

LMAO is an acronym that stands for "Laughing my ass off". It's a popular term people use on the internet when refering to something they find generally humorous.

  • @JMetalify @JMetalify I should have spelled never not "neve" and about not "avout".

but to say about me, "You wait 7 hours and call me a coward." is not true. I did not comment that you are a coward. Now I acknowledge that since you eventually

responded to my question, that saying you never responded no longer hold up. Why did you insert an imaginary insult into the comment?

  • @JonahTorn I meant about and not "avout" sorry.

  • @JMetalify You're worse for laughing at a person with Tourette syndrome.

  • @ForgottenXLegend

I treated him like I would treat any one person who did something on youtube, I laughed. Should I have lied and Said " No I didn't laugh". He's a grown human adult, not a mentally ill person with tourettes. He knew people like me would come along and find this humorous. He's not a child, strop trying to defend him like he is one. Threat him like a grown adult and realize that your act of wishing pestilience upon anouther human being is a gross act of immaturity.

  • @JMetalify you piece of shit... hope you burn in hell fucking kid.

  • @fiafjaif

Wow, wishing a child to burn in hell is quite a cruel thing to do. Whenever someone does something you disapprove ofdo you always wish them enternal torment in the fires of sin? You don't even want to teach them the error of thier ways? Just want them to burn and suffer because they don't share your viewpoint?

Sir, that is outrageous! You are acting no better then I was when I made my comment. If my destiny is infinite pain, I'm sure that your threat will earn you just the same.

  • @JMetalify well why the hell do you bring up a story here ... i really wish you to burn in hell becouse u writed " lmao HAHAHAHAHAH " that's fucking cruel to write against a person like JOnah just becouse he have tourettes--- learn something u stupid fuck.

  • @fiafjaif I'm just pointing out how heartless you are as a person. Should I have lied and Said I DIDN"T find it "lol"? I Treated him as I would treat any other human being on youtube. Am I really that wrong for treating him like a normal person, or are you wrong trying to shelter him from a negative comment. He's not a child, He's a grown man and can take care of himself. He knew people would act the way I did when he posted the video and for you to display such arrogance of that is stupid

  • @JMetalify Then you need to be the most heartless person on youtube... As you said.... " Should i lied and SAid i DIDNT find it " LOL ". Treated him as i would treat any other human being on youtube " ... and you can heart his feelings to... just becouse he's having tourettes it doesnt mean that he aint having feelings... treat people as you want them to treat you...

  • @fiafjaif

How about no. I'll threat anyone I damn well please cause it's the internet and there's not a goddamn thing you can do to stop me.

So really, you're whole arguement is pointless. Kindly fuck off.

  • @JMetalify @JMetalify I still do not know what " lmao " means, would some one please tell me?

  • I have watched about a dozen of these videos...It is gut wrenching... where can donations be sent for the best research and studies. My heart goes out to all of you. May you have peace.

  • I am not sure who the "best"group is to give to or about the best research. The Tourette syndrome association leeps on top of that and you can find them with google. It always helps me when people subdcribe to my channel and comments, so thank you.

  • I think I could date someone w/ tourettes, even a severe case. It couldn't be my reason for dating them though... I don't believe in charity dating- if I enjoyed their personality and shared some of the same desires in life I don't see the problem.

  • we all must see you as an example and carry on with our problems. not many ppl are so brave as you. i may be far but i think there will always be someone to care for you... in a good way. i have a totally different problem but seeing this vid doesnt make me sad, just stronger to face every day with courage and hope. have a nice life time johan and dont forget that there is a reason that god made you the way you are... i know i cant help but i needed to congrat you! greetings from greece

  • I've never known someone affected by any more than a slight twitch so I can't say for sure, and it might depend on the set and severity of ticks, but I don't think I would have a problem dating someone with Tourettes at all.

  • respect

  • How sad :(

  • i have a minor case of cussing tourettes probably not even tourettes just me wanting to say stuff

  • I get fucking pissed when other people judge people with tourettes, i mean like they are normal people just they have a sickness, and not everything they say, is true, like i mean if they scream or swear at you, just let them be, dont accuse them that they're on drugs or anyhow.

  • Jim Carey did this in a movie once . .

  • @pompom11 haha

  • when I worked at the State Hospital during college, there were many patients there who were considered plain old crazy but they probably had tourettes syndrome

wonder how many people are mis-diagnosed?

    .

  • @pompom11 Hard to say. I learned it is good to check out Doctors records on the internet. Some doctors are on probation with the medical board. I met with one who had shown up drunk at a Hospital (it was in his record but had nothing to do with me), had failed drug test blaming poppy seeds on food, and there was a pattern. There was so much more wrong with this guy, and I sensed it in his office and learned to check out DR's online because it was obvious something was just a bit off.

  • When I worked at the State Hospital there were people like him there, but I don't think the Doctors recognized it as Tourett just they were crazy.

  • @pompom11 Which years did you work in the State Mental Hospital? You may appreciate my video on the Time Out Room. It is taken from one of my stories written entirely as poetry.

  • @pompom11 What you saw in the State Hospital may have had a different cause

  • i could definitely date someone with tourettes. things like that shouldnt even matter. people are people. and if its a good person, and you like them, then what is the problem.

  • LMAO

  • 0:20

  • You asked for comments by people who don't have tourettes what concerns dating someone with this illness. I don't have tourettes and neither do I know anyone who does personally. This may sound harsh but you did ask for honesty; I would under no circumstances date someone with tourettes that goes beyond maybe occasional finger snipping or something, I personally find it really turns me off, kind of constantly distorting the person. Many other disabilities I wouldn't mind, like amputation.

  • Let me comment.

If you made through this video without laughing, you either fall under 1 under of these categories, you deal with someone with tourettes everyday (causing your body to react to differently than most people) or your held back your laughs as hard as you can

Laughing is an involuntary reaction. The only way to cure is it to "kill the joke" like living with a person with tourettes

So, if you laughed like I did, you shouldn't have any regret towards it.

  • lol

  • i was just about to say being around people with tourettes more will make you more use to it and it will seem more and more normal and you wont laugh so much and maybe in the future not at all. your not making fun when you laugh. you cant help it, just like they can't help it. so you see, we're all the same one way or another.

  • @omgwtfbbq6666 Why did you type "Let me comment"? Did you think I would object to your comment?

  • @JonahTorn Well, the message wasn't really directed to you, it was directed towards everyone else here arguing over this video.

  • @omgwtfbbq6666 Did some one commenting on this video try to stop you from commenting?

  • sometimes with my tourettes, i find that things get very adictive, I have mild tourettes, but its still pretty bad to try to deal with it. Im in high school, tourettes is like social suicide, so i have learned to stop them when someone is looking at me :). Sometimes you have to just laugh about your own tourettes, i find it makes me feel slightly less embarassed.

  • @Barisaxlover What do you think of Idespisechristians comment

"he is faking it dam tard"

Do you have to deal with people who make those kinds of comments when you experience tics? What is the best response to this on youtube?

  • My boyfriend has TS and I love him so so so much. the TS doesn't bother me. He isn't severe but even if he was it would not bother me. He is sexy and handsome. I would never ever leave him even if his changes and becomes severe!! Oh and by the way you are a very handsome man and I am sure there are lots and lots of women who would love to have a nice sensitive man such as yourself....and the TS wouldn't be an issue!

  • Serious question.

When your having sexual intercourse with him, do you feel any moments when his tourettes "kills the moment"? Or does it simply add to the..."fun"?

  • Well to be honest...it adds to my fun!!

  • live the life Jesus that has given you.... peace out

    Sean

NOTE: THIS IS NOT FUNNY! IT IS A DISIBILATY AND IF YOU LAUGH...... THINK TWICE... BEFORE YOU COMMENT.....

  • Haha this is actually the funniest video with tourette syndrome. I know its a disease and i feel sorry for you, but we have to admit that the noises are funny

  • @Morr1992 New noises the catch me off guard make me laugh sometimes. But I it is like a joke that you hear at a party that gets old in an hour, but in this case it last months, years or off and on forever. Remember in Ghost when the ghost sang "I'm Henry the Eight I am" over and over; well I envy miss Goldberg's character, because the ghost stopped.

  • if anyone has not watched his poetry video you should...in my opion its pretty good...it really makes a person like me. Without tourettes to not understand what their going through bc i dont think we can understand it but it deff helps

  • This vid ws made because of my question to you I couldn't watch it for a year because I felt like I hurt you so bad with my question, now I see it back and think well, and i start to realize that tourettes is in the way of relationships. untill you find the right person, i have to find it though men only i am maybe not so severe as some ppl. I can hold them for great extendts well.. i just wanted to reply finally.. Whata world.
