  • I wish the producers that made the trailer put the actual Green River recording from Woodstock in it.

still a sweet trailer and movie :)

  • Demetri neads to be in more movies.

  • I want to see this movie

  • at 1:19, thats jonathan groff!!! that made me so happy when i first watched this after watching glee

  • whats woodstock?

  • @ioncerapedaman69 haha, the best festival ever, It's not my music and style, but you can't denie it

  • This movie is awesome, I have watched it 10 times already. I was heading off to Vietnam when Woodstock was going on, peace and love, bring back the 60's.

  • all im asking for is a time machine, is that too much to ask...?

  • Hello, all. This trailer made this film look soooo good, then the movie itself was a terrible disappointment; it kept going off into irrelevant directions. I couldn't even watch the whole thing. Just my 2 cents. Peace, Love, Bread & Justice for ALL.

  • Trailer was definatley better than the movie...

  • Happy Anniversary Woodstock!!! Coming up this august 15-17 it'll be 42 long years since the greatest music festival of all time happend!!!! <3 <3

  • excuse me

whats the name of that CCR song?

  • @hank19890902 Green River :)

  • Demetri Martin <3

  • Fuck Bonnaroo, we need Woodstock again!!

  • Sex, drugs, and rock and roll! Make love not war. Give peace a chance. Us baby boomers were, and still are "groovy" man:)

  • This movie sucks dick. Watch the actual Woodstock: 3 days of music and peace. Good music, good interviews, no washed out/sugar coated shit. Fuck, it's pretty bad when Woodstocks of all things is made into a commercially remastered piece of shit, but I guess that started in the 90's.

  • My Aunt was at woodstock!!! She is so lucky!!!! She said it changed her life...

  • My Aunt was at woodstock!!! She has no idea how lucky she was

  • LMFAO Jonathan groff! he looks halarious with that wig....But i still love him<33

  • "What should i do?" "Rally your troops!" "Do i have any troops?" "You got'cher mom, don't you? She's a battalion!"

  • best movie ever, best time period ever!...i wish i was there:(...i need to build a time machine really badly

  • aha "you gave them brownies?" haha yup sure looks like it

  • the 60s was my parents' era, I hear many stories about it from my father which prompted me to see this movie when it was released. The picture was very well done, I recommend it highly if you want to feel like you're back in the 60s at Woodstock.

  • Glossing and adding veneer on something that makes drugs and promiscuity look glamorous is not on to me.

  • lòl_ÄnyOÑË_wÀññâ_chAt_wÎth_më_Í_fèËl_s0_lØnÊly_t0dAý♪

  • hahaha my neighbor was an extra in this film. He has really puffy hair...

  • i wish i was at WoodStock. I wish I was in the 60s. I had to be born in the corrupt time and place (today and America). We so need a new hippie movement.

  • Woodstock can never happen again. There's never been a generation before or since with the kind of spirit it would take. You can't go back in time.

  • @viduabird Here's a little advise. If one puts their mind to it, anything is accomplishable. Nothing is impossible, unless you believe it's impossible. just some advise

  • @Dearhunter43 It is impossible to recreate woodstock! You can't go back in time! Piece of advice, it's possible to create a new thing, but woodstock is woodstock, it's history!

  • @viduabird you see I don't carry your 'once it's history, it's history' attitude. Call me crazy but... I think if anyone tried to their best of their abilities, they could. maybe there may be differences, but God made anything possible to the one who tries. I don't want this comment to be to much of a nuisance. Peace!!!

  • @Dearhunter43 Can you bring back the Vietnam war? Can you bring back the spirit of a generation that ended it? Can you bring back a time when not wearing a bra was revolutionary? Where is this generation in regards to a singleness of purpose? You can't go back. You can create someting similar, but not the same. Who would headline the revue? Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber? I know all things are possible with God by prayer and supplication. Do you think he will time capsule us back? Don't be foolish!

  • @viduabird Nicely said:)

  • @viduabird At least I'm open minded and not letting go. I never said go back. I meant similar. I just think it's unfair that I was born in this fucking Hell on earth. Political unrest, wars left and right, racism here-there-everywhere, people judging others based on things that don't matter. Do you think that's fair. How about knowing that a fucking retard and evil asshole (Bush and Cheney) got elected twice. How fair is that? I say we need a change. If you don't like that, fuck off!

  • @Dearhunter43 A man of wisdom uses words with restraint, a man of understanding is even tempered! Just saying.

  • @viduabird look sorry dude for out bursting, I just can't believe what a shit hole I live in. Look I know I can't bring back an exact replica of anything, but it's worth bringing back somthing. Just something could work. Please don't think to badly of me. I don't wanna make enemies. i just think something's gotta be done. Just something.

  • @Dearhunter43 No problem brother! This is a good time for music as well! There are some amazing indie bands like the ones who's music is in my film! I've enjoyed talking to you because at least you're a critical thinker who brings something to the table. People like you are the hope. You show a great deal of maturity!

  • @viduabird thanx dude, your a cool dude you know. aprecieate that. I kant spel. lol

  • @Dearhunter43 Nice chatting with you! Peace:)

  • @viduabird Peace!!!

  • Awesome movie, let's make a new Woodstock!

  • Please tell me what is the last song in this trailer

  • @ComradChris74 It's 'Volunteers' by Jefferson Airplane

  • THOSE WERE THE FUCKING DAYS

  • OMG OMG OMG

    This movie is FANTASTIC .

The main guy hippie is cute . ;) lol

And this movie was AMAZING and changed my life .

    Lol not really . ;)

  • im only watching this cos of Emile hirsch. is this film any good?

  • great movie!

  • Great Actors. Great Story. Great Film.

  • Love Jonathan Groff in this.

  • the mother is some wako

  • i wish this could happen again...

  • @Adu8585 They did it again in 1999 for the 30 yearanniversary but it got so out of hand that the police decided to not have anymore anniversary concerts for woodstock. but yeah i agree if we could i would love to have another 3 days of peace and music

  • @Adu8585 maybe if people like us were all together

  • @Adu8585 It can, occupy woodstock ;)

  • @Adu8585 after i watched Three days of peace and music, that is a documentary of the event, i stopped thinking i wanted that to happen again.

  • is this movie on itunes?? i found the soundtrack, but not the movie

  • hahso bored any Guys want to rescue me

  • The creepy cop from Phantoms and the really cunty teacher from Harry Potter are in this movie!

  • I am warning anyone who hasnt seen this movie, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

ONE THE WORST MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! how could a film director screw up a woodtock script... well it just happened. the characters r horrible in this movie and ruin it. the gay parts/ the parents-especially the old hag/ the tranny/and the head of the woodstock fest.....

just pathetic. it just angers me that this film could not capture part of an amazing time period

  • @jmill2828er i disagree too, maybe u just didn't like it cause your homophobic...

  • @jmill2828er this movie is badass it a good movie well it your opion

  • @jmill2828er lol and was there anything from woodstock that was right? 500 000 hippies, all on drugs, listening to music, crash and destory a small country town. personally, i loved the movie, it showed what the life was like for the people in woodstock, not just the acts that played. it was awesome (Y)

  • @jmill2828er You were just looking for the hollywood version of Woodstock. This movie was really good. it captured the true essence of Woodstock, and not some over exaggerated hollywood bullshit. The movie isn't about the concert, its about everything else that happened in that time. So in fact, it DID capture a lot of what happened in that time period... just saying.

  • this movie was boring

  • If woodstock was a person.. I would marry him :)

  • Awesome movie. Just wish they didn't make Demetri Martin gay.

  • how i wish i attended woodstock back in 1969.

    oh 60s, oh 60s

  • 70s = best fucking decade!!! i just both this movie for 6 bucks, can't wait to watch it

  • luved the movie luv the guys show hope the show goes on for 4 more years and i hope that our children our childrens children and etc. make movies like this talking about woodstock and all the great festivals

  • Peace! To each their own opinion - I just saw this TERRIBLE FILM. Woodstock's legacy was about people gathered together for a positive purpose & living together, in difficult conditions HARMONIOUSLY (not even 1 fist fight.) Assorted circumstances (NOT in movie) came together resulting in this legendary concert. IT WAS ABOUT GREAT MUSIC & PROMOTING PEACE. This film makes it look like it was about Nothing but drugs & meaningless sex. Tedious, filthy script . . . AWFUL. Peace & Love.

  • They didn't even film this at the actual site of woodstock >:[ Not even in the same COUNTY as Woodstock

  • @AutumnGracy who cares its a f*cking movie

  • @mcdo0gal I know, it's just that I visited the Woodstock Musuem on sight of the original Woodstock and all the employees were upset about it because they could have used the money to fund the museum...

  • hippies :D eric cartman would love this xD

  • @belgradebobcat916

    Hahahaha.... awesome comment!!

  • @thekillerincardif Well, you certainly like to say fuck. This film was great and was an accurate representation of the legendary concert.

  • Does anybody knows which song sounds when he went "to the ocean" on the acid trip??? kinda indian music....

  • I actually cried while watching this film....not as if it was the best movie of all time but I was so sad that I was not born during this period and to have experiance it! What an amazing event and time!

  • what is the last song played from 1:34 to the end?

  • @Dwk519 it's Volunteers by Jefferson Airplane

  • HEY GUYS PLEASE READ!!!

Is this movie enjoyable while smoking weed?

I'm not sure and I don't want to be disappointed. ;)

  • @megatroll try across the universe, llove itt

  • @lulugal31

Okay thanks. I'll try it. ;D

  • @megatroll everything is enjoyable while smoking weed.

  • You hippie scum. Go fight in iraq.

  • @203207ab

Just cause you said that doesn't make you better than everyone else. It shows your a low self esteemed asshole who nobody cares about.

Go die somewhere. Doesn't have to be for a worthless country.

  • One of the best films ever!!

  • Lol I read about woodstock and it sounded wierd lol. I would just have gone for the music..because well, the music was the best thing about th 60's(besides my mom)

  • @babyloves286 It WAS largely about the music, but that was just the pot the stew boiled in. The 'meat' of it was the government prying into our lives, a horrible war killing our brothers and parents telling us that we were filthy and disgusting. "The Establishment" was the galvanization that we needed for a generation soon to be lost to drugs, hypocrisy and hackneyed slogans.

  • Demetri Martin <3

MAN i'm in love with this movie!!!

  • They were parts about this movie I really liked, and parts I didn't really care for. The music was fantastic. Would've done better if Ang didn't try and push his radical left agenda. I don't think the gay/lesbian subject matter was necessary. Now, I'm all for sticking it to the man, youth, and music, and maybe even drugs, but it felt little too far left for me with the homosexuality. It makes me uncomfortable.

  • @uncaringgenius "his radical left agenda"..in most things, the philosophy of the festival was about the "radical left", probably you feel uncomfortable because maybe you have no clue what Woodstock really meant ...

  • @Camponesadastrevas Woodstock, TO ME, meant rebellion, youth, love, drugs, and music most of all. I think it would've been more successful, if he'd just presented the most important subjects that took place at Woodstock. Even today, There are people who are enthused with Woodstock aren't liberal enough to accept homosexuality.

  • @uncaringgenius Wow...this said in 2010. Perhaps you are "uncomfortable' with homosexuality because we are demanding now to be equal and have the same rights as you. Too bad that 'don't ask, don't tell' can't go on forever for you. The "far left" isn't about homosexuality. We are about regular lives and living free, so try to reconsider your bigotry.

  • @Real1shepherd Well, yes, It's different when homosexuals ask to be treated equal like natural human beings. I think homosexuality is wrong. It goes against tradition and nature. Considering a male and a female CAN reproduce as they please naturally, and homosexuals CAN NOT produce one, well, naturally atleast. If you want to be treated equal by those around you, I suggest you form your own country on a remote island, but DO NOT expect to change every single countries' way of living.

  • @uncaringgenius Fortunately, your are a dinosaur. You make a lot of noise, but you're becoming extinct. As you age, I'll get the satisfaction of knowing that gays will seem all around you and tormenting you. You are correct in that homosexual men cannot have babies; we just adopt and take care of the 'mistakes' that heterosexuals make by the million in your "production" process. You are a sad excuse for living cells....good luck living as a hater and bigot.

  • @uncaringgenius stick that in ur crack pipe and smoke it you conservative son of a bitch.GAY PRIDE!! whether you like it or not.its all around you,and there is no stopping it.grow up and face the facts.cheers

  • @uncaringgenius not sure if it's worth it reacting to a statement like yours, but you say homosexuality is against tradition and nature? your tradition perhaps, but man has always known homosexuality, even from before christ during the roman period, in Chinese literature during earlier dynasties, there has always been homosexuality. Scientific research has shown us that even chimps know homosexuality, and so do other species... so how exactly is that against nature?

  • this movie is amazing. ang lee is a genius.

  • In Chinese "胡士托風波" !!

Gosh Must GO watch this movie

After I saw it ~ I'm like ~ WOW ROCK IT MAN !!!! Totally !!

    Coooooooooooooooooooooooooll!!!! hahahah

  • Damn hippies...

  • im in luv with jon groff

  • This movie SUCKED

  • its hard to believe someone make such a dull boring movie about the greatest three days ever

  • @Lobodomy69 It wasn't made up, man, this was a true story. Dun be a hater, if u didn't like it, then don't watch the trailer again.

  • @goldroad47 sorry

  • This movie is amazing! God I wish I could live in those days.

  • @GrrricaPeace how could u think this movie was amazing? i was so pumped for it, since i love that time period/music/history.

This was literally the WORST movie i have ever seen in a theatre. the characters in the movie r ridiculous and not even like the real people. not to mention the gay parts and the parents of the main character who just were annoying as hell. HORRIBLE MOVIE

  • @jmill2828er You're entitled to your opinion. I disagree.

  • @GrrricaPeace Indeed

  • Really want to watch this movie

  • @YoleneR14 ^^^Just a warning, If it was rated, It'd be r. I watched it with my mom not knowing half the shit that was in it.

  • look the same with into the wild right?

  • they should redo a mega concert just like woodstock

  • @alexnr951 if it were to happen, it would most likely suck. woodstock consisted of a generation of people that all believed in one thing. call me pessimistic, but I don't think it would work out in this day and age.

  • "This film is not yet rated" HAHA! :D I really laughed out loud at the end there, phew! Made my day...

  • Jonathan Groff!!! Ahh!!

  • This was alot better than the trailer implied. Really good movie.

  • This movie was a little bit of a drag on. I mean it was so slow and I thought it was an OK movie.

  • @HolmesNumba187 It was ang lee's . He always attempts to 'pull people in" to the film by creating numerous 'dragging' scenes (sense and sensibility, brokeback mountain, crouching tiger) That was his signature. And... THAT WHAT MAKES ME SO IN LOVE WITH HIM! He's undoubtedly one of greatest filmmaker in centuries.

    How about you?

  • @calciumkid85 sorry for the 8 month reply!! I was visiting a friend in Europe and never logged in until 2 weeks ago, when I arrived back!! Ok, to answer your question, I agree with you %100. Ang Lee takes the audience into a personal world that isolates you from the ordinary. He really showed his skills in Brokeback, but in Woodstock, the whole affirmation of it was a little dragged out! but all in all it was a pretty good film. Did you watch the movie he did after Woodstock? peace =)

    Miami, FL

  • I'm skeptical about a movie that's been explained to me like my IQ is 5. But I'll go see it cause I like history and it is said to be based on a true story of an even which has a heavy cultural impact on everyone.

  • Demetri would be in this, him and his hippy attitude lol

  • Vibrações Positivas !

    watch?v=8SyfG0IOKNo

  • A waste of time, zzzzz. Better off watching the original Woodstock movie.

  • No joke, it was THE WORST MOVIE I have ever watched in a theater...

I could not believe how bad this movie was.. i was with 4 other people, they all hated it... I almost walked out... i should have.

  • can you buy this in stores now?

  • This movie was great!!!!! LOVE IT!!

  • i love this movie. i like the part where there high off of acid in the van. lmao XD

  • why was it necessary for demetri to get gay in this movie....what the fuck...

Ya its about peace, love, dope, but why the gayness? whaa da fug

  • Who's this paul? Smart spamming, uh? :/

  • I fucking hated this movie. It just dragged on and tried to be everything about woodstock at once. I thought Eugene Levy and Demetri Martin would make it funny, and then I found out Ang Lee directed it so I knew I wasted my money at the movies, if anyone is considering seeing this movie DO NOT. The movie is a boring, random multiple shots that are totally unecessary and pisses you off knowing you sat through this fucking shit

  • right!...its gonna make young highschool kids into stupid hippies, god damn this movie was boring.

  • wooooo! go Demetri Martin!!!!!!

  • this movie wasn't that good. it was pretty boring

  • this movie is alright it could of been made better

  • amazing movie<3

  • ......pfft

  • Comment removed

  • i love all Demetri's jabs about his nose, ahaha

  • awesome movie..... damn i wish i went to woodstock back in 1969

  • hahah super gay...he woke up with a dude!!! haha thumbs up to you man

  • and i like how they advertised it as if it was a fun comedy, then it turns out to be 2 hrs of Jews & emotional family problems!?! wtf

  • it really wasnt a movie for demetri martin or that other weird veitnam guy

  • agreed... this movie was horrible

  • Damn, that ending was badass... Im not gonna spoil it ! Just watch it on Fullmovieswatch XcomX

  • My mom played in that movie xD so now I own it on DVD because of her lmao

  • This movie is absolutely amazing! As much as I do watch movies online, I strongly recommend anyone who wants to see this movie to buy it. At least at some point. Believe me, it's well worth the investment. Peace, love, and Woodstock.

  • my favorite part of this trailer were the two nuns holding up the peace sign at the beginning of 2:16 but it happens for only like half a second but that was awesome :)

  • the m0vie you can see it online for free i @ MOOV ZON . COM search the above link on google

  • Saw this movie for the first time last night and fricken LOVED it!!! Man, if only I had a fucking time machine!!
