  • That was awesome really!!! Your good at blues I'd say amazing attempt at blues in c minor!!!!!

  • Amazinf

  • Not crappy. I enjoyed it a lot. Actually, I hope that you post more.....

  • @truebluefliplover Thank you very much! I appreciate that!

  • what are your guitar volume and tone settings?

  • this is good man, not crappy at all

  • sounds just perfect to my ears, cant understand why you call that crabby!!!! ? :-)

  • Dont put yourself down by calling it crappy :L its good you put feeling into it

  • That was pretty cool, man. What you really need to work on is your self esteem with regards to your playing. You play with a lot of heart and thats what truly matters. Most guitarists have an ego. They always have to one - up. Just walk into guitar center on any given day. It's like walking onto the front lines of battle. I've been playing for over 30 years (see...ego) and I know kids that have been playing for 5 that can blow me out of the water. Give it your best, forget the rest. Play on!

  • @A13O31 Thank you. I appreciate that :)

  • @minitstop i agree with a13031 your good mate

  • @A13O31 I have to agree with this guy, I think he means play it like you mean it. Like you're yelling at some one your really mad ,thats the energy you gotta capture. Get more aggresive! Fantastic playing man. Thumbs up.

  • yes to impro no to lessons. I really should take lessons, though. It's just that I'd rather ride my bike than take lessons :p

  • nice, how long you been playing?

  • @skillzdatkillz900 off and on for about 17 years. Never really serious about it until about 2 years ago. Thanks!

  • @minitstop cool, was this impro? and did you have lessons btw? sorry, im just curious hah

  • Crappy? That was really nice.

  • @jurgnn Thank you kindly :)

  • the next time you say youre a crappy player im gonna start spamming hate comments on this video lol seriously dude you look great to me i wish i had your skill and this vid is very good all guitar needs is practice

  • @gtamodman122 Oh shit. I better prepare for some spam! :p no but, thank you. I might graduate to sucky. I've been practicing a LOT!

  • @minitstop practicing is basic and since you practice a lot, youre in a good way....and i wont spam..for now :-P anyway keep it up :-)

  • sounds good to me

  • dude i think i commented before cant remeber but its good man how long youve been playing for?

  • @hugokickfeen89 Im not sure if you did or not but I've been playing since I was 18 years. I've only started getting a little good about a year or two ago. Before that it was just messing around. I now play every day for at least an hour. Thanks : )

  • @minitstop wow i can see myself going the same path its true what they say the more you practice the better you get i play the bass and guitar both for at least 3 hrs each day so keep doing your thing bro

  • Way better than my attempt :)

  • @SlimD11 Something tells me that it's not true ^_^

  • @figaz555 You're a fuckin idiot lol.

  • That ain't crappy man...

  • that was cool but really think you could edit the audio to cut back the high end or whatever to improve quality

  • crappy attempt man that was great

  • hey there, i got the same amp,and i'm kinda struggling to get the right blues set up, can give me the set up u r using on the amp? or maybe if u have experience with some other blues setups for this amp ? thanks..Regards

  • Howzit. I'm sorry about I can't remember exactly how it was set up however, I'm almost certain that I had distortion on lol. Since this amp is just way to loud to play at night, I had the gain at about 9:00, bass and countour at 9:00, treble at 1:00 and volume at whatever. I had almost max reverb at FX level 12:00. Try that and let me know how it sounds. Also, what guitar are you using and what settings do you have it at. Do you use any pedals?

  • i have a vintage Les Paul...the nearest blues kinda setup i got was gain at 9:00, bass-contour-treble at 12:00 , i used the chr instead of reverb and FX at about 11:00. (the chr-chorus- gives a bluesy like sound,as far as i noticed)..anyways i also have the same prob. with playing at night, don't wanna make troubles with the neighbours and stuff :P

    i'll try the setup u mentioned ;)

  • Sweet guitar. The amp, guitar and effects are only the equipment aspect of the total sound. I'm sure you already know that your fingers contribute greatly to the sound that you're looking for or at least, that's how it is with me. Keep messing around, you'll find the sound you're looking for one way or another.

  • i tried the mp setup u proposed and i like it, i lowered the reverb a lil though, but it sounds really cool , thanks for the tip :)

  • Wow that's just awesome :) Right on!

  • PART 3

lets not forget that Gibson USA owns Epiphone Guitars and has since 1957.

  • the Epiphone G-400 SG 62 WILL COST US $800 PLUS IN THE NEAR FUTURE YOU CAN BET ON THAT.

  • Dude, I hope you know what you are talking about, I just bought one after what you said on another g400 video. This will be my first guitar, never played before. Two days ago, I bought a Fender Hot Rod Deville for my amp. I hope these two go together OK.

  • Got the guitar fever after going to see AC/DC in Atlanta a month ago. Was sitting on the 10th row. I have some videos posted of the show.

  • part 2.

a highend guitar. fender has also done this in the past. they do this for a few years then they stop. the 2008 and 009 Epiphone G-400 SG 62 AND 66 have been compared to the Gibson standard SG'S. and like i said there bothe Gibson USA Authorized. there both simply fantastic SG'S!

  • theres nothing crappy about the 2008AND 009 Epiphone G-400 SG 62 AND 66 SG'S.they both have highend hardware that Gibson/Epiphone put on them both back in 2007. the 62 comes stock with Alnico V Humbucker pu's. Grover 12 to 1 gear ratio tunners. tone loc bridge and stop tail bar the same you will find on most Gibson SG'S. heavy duty volume and tone pots 500's. and its Gibson USA Authorized. some guitar makers put highend parts on for a limited time and keep the price low so people can afford a

  • NOT crappy....good sound and feeling. I have the same guitar and it is amazing.

  • Hey thanks! Humble by nature I guess? Try taking a look at some of the newer ones. I believe they are far better than this one. I think :p

  • That was very nice mate, exactly the kind of sound I'm leaning towards in my playing. BEAUTIFUL! You should check out my vids once I get my G400 custom maestro, white with gold hardware, 3 humbuckers, damn it looks nice, getting it for my 21st. stay tuned :D

  • Looking forward to it and thanks! I would like that guitar as well. Looks like it sounds awesome as weird as that appears to be :p Good luck and please let me know when you get those vids!

  • Pretty good for being "Crappy" LOL

  • Old Blues of Mississipi...

  • great................

  • its good it sounds like a famous blues riff

  • hey if theres mistakes i cant even tell. its like led zeppelin in I Cant Quit You Baby, there were a lot of mistakes he said..but when i listen to it sounds just perfect. blues doesnt have to be perfect, just from the soul.

  • very nice blues and sound!!!

  • Thank you, thank you ver' much!

  • some how when you play i think on bb king. very good playing :)

  • To be even remotely reminded of a legend such as B.B. King is a great honor from a stranger. Thank you : )

  • I'm playing an SG Standard with Regular Silnkys through a Marshall 75 and I really love it. SG+Marshall is just one of the best electric guitar combinations ever. Sounds really great with Gain at 2 and volume at the guitar at 4.

Btw, you're playing not bad man and you know that, so don't write anything 'bout messing around. Shit on technical mistakes, that's not important.

  • Thanks :p. Youtube humbles me :p I will try your gain/volume combo and see how it is :) I usually crank the guitar up all the way and have the gain at where I feel like at the time lol.

  • i am getting this guitar and then getting guitar lessons!

    Great video.

  • so did you get it ?

  • Yep I got it about a month ago. It looks a little different than yours though. the pick guard goes up and also covers the area under the strings. it also has a darker finish than yours does and the wood is more visible, but its still red. I just love it! its my first guitar! But i was using all my money so i had to settle with a used peavey vyper amp. but i just love playing this guitar!

  • You have the 1966 limited edition then!

  • it's awesome too. but one thing i dont like about it is how the neck is a little to heavy. so if i ever play standing up i have to support the weight of the neck.

  • Yeah, I think its on purpose becasue the true gibsons have top heavy necks lol, still, not as heavy as a lp!

  • Very Good playing !

I have the same guitar and i can not get a sound like this, i can recognize the guitar but it does not have this tone i really like that you give !

Well done ! and hoping to see other videos

  • Thanks! I think, maybe, that I had the bass mostly all the way up, the treble about 1/4 up, overdrive enabled but only very very slightly, medium reverb, guitar at full volume (it's always at full), switched to treble, and it was a nice cool day. I hope that helps, bro and thanks again!

  • Thanks for posting up my friend. I've been thinking of getting one of these guitars and went through at least 15 really bad videos before finding yours. Cheers and good luck with the playing :)

  • You're totally welcome and thanks!

  • lol

  • good stuff

  • this was added on my bday

  • That's an interesting comment. I don't know how to react to that. Congratulations? :p

  • I'm ready to buy this guitar ^^ check out my video of guitar ! =) tell me what you think

  • awesome! I will check your video out :)

  • wow great job man

so how long youve been playing?

  • Right on, dude. Um I've been "playing" for about 15 years but i've only recently started to take practicing seriously lol. Perhaps in the last two months or so.

  • Don't knock yourself mate, that is some excellent work - keep practicing and posting your videos!

  • Thanks : ) I practice every day. Perhaps in a month I'll try to record a new video so I can see if i'm improving. Cheers!

  • that's awesome dude. I am buying that guitar today and have been watching several videos with this guitar. I think I love yours the best. Beautiful tone and great improv

  • Thanks, kind sir! You will not be disappointed with this guitar. It's quite fricken amazing! I did have to fiddle around with a variety of strings to find out which ones work best for this particular guitar. That took about a week :p Which color are you going to get?

  • i like it alot!! this is the reason im getting a mg30dfx

  • why thank you! Just to let you know, my mg30dfx has developed a slight problem very recently. The volume pot on the OD circuit cuts out. I could probably fix it but I am lazy :p I have to wind it up and play then it pops back. It might be due to the headphone jack. I'm not sure. It's not a huge deal but it does irk me at times. Other people have had this problem while many others haven't. I guess it's the same with any and every amp. Some are good, some are not.

  • I wouldn't say crappy. I'd say you just need more experience. You do sound good, you just need to get better control. However i like it.

  • well I'm glad you like it! I agree. I need lots more control. It'll come with time (hopefully) :) Thanks for watching!
