Jorg Muller bascially just wanted to take out the DC5 and let their team win..... usual tactics used where back in the late 80's and early 90's where BNR32 Skyline GTR were winning Gr.A touring car races spanking BMW's, Ford Cosworth..... guess what they just shut down the series.... LOL... shameful....LOL

Didn't you guys see it?? Jorg was just a little way too fast into the corner and seeing the DC5 making his way a bit right, thought he would go there so Jorg made into the inside knowing the DC5 is not fully going to the right thus contact made... The DC5 walked away because the steering is still working while the BMW's front left steering arm broke.

Augusto Farfus made the exact same incident in 2007/2008 here. Benefited Alain Menu IIRC.

@kits11326 BMW's advantage is in cornering, not straight line. Get both of the cars race together in Brands Hatch. Now there you can see BMW's cornering advantage.

@kits11326 Well if the DC5 is being driven like how it was in the video especially in this tight Macau circuit, the BMW will never be able to pass it even until the end of the race. I must admit though, the DC5 is a very very strong, fast and reliable car. Even if you're a race driver, you sometimes got to take a risk to have success - granted whether it pays off or the other way around as long as it wasn't a stupid mistake to make a fool of yourself.

If u watch it carefully, the BMW followed the Honda too close, and on that corner, the Honda braked too early, the BMW just avoid to crash on the Honda's back and turn left and plan to overtake as well, but the Honda was not aware of the BMW and closed the door.. I think the BMW should not follow that close

If you look carefully, the 2nd BMW took that corner from the outside becoz its natural for Fr cars and FF cars take it from the inside. BMW was just either cheating or dumb mistake.

Guys. this is some straregy they use in the race. push the opponent away and let the teamate passed. It is a dirty trick, but lot of team still using this in the racing. Of course the german will not let any japanese DC5 heading too many laps. WTCC is all euro team dominate the race. This is why the Guia gup in macau are all WTCC world now. The japanese don't want to play this stupid game anymore. Let the german play.

I remember watching this a couple years ago. Was pleased to see that Chinese based Honda team doing so well with a car that was so new at the time against a very big BMW teamwith some of the very best drivers in the world driving them!
