@LeSaMilano Ha ha ha ha.. What we want is a dog that walks, grooms and feeds itself.. Seriously though, what we do need is a non-shedder, as my wife is allergic, and we also want a cross breed, so we're still looking into all these combinations! The best dog for us would be a 'Havapoo', but it's mainly found in the US, and not at all common in the UK.. and no, I am not joking! It's a cross between a Havanese and a Poodle. There's also a cross between Havanese and Shitzu, called 'Havashit'.. :)

@BasicModelling Lesley has a fur allegy but has no problems with Tandy - she has a very rough coat (Tandy that is) - like cuddling a door-mat (which I am sure you are familiar with) and she doesn't seem to shed a lot and her fur doesn't get tangled in your clothes like soft furry dogs and cats

@BasicModelling I can see why after your last experience. Tandy is a cross Cairn (hence the doormat fur) and Patterdale which are very friendly dogs. Having said that my bro's border is an affectionate little devil too! I think you just had bad luck and maybe a bit of Jack Russel in there
