  • Oh wow, this sounds delicious and I have two heads of cabbage in my fridge... I'm making this tonight! Thanks so much for sharing : )

  • @BornInTzyon Let me know how it turns out. Thanks for watching.

  • @katzcradul YUMMY!!!! Wow : ) This will be a regular at our house now. Everyone loved it. I didn't have any almonds on hand so we had to substitute salted sunflower seeds but that was good as well. I also ran out of time to thaw & cook the chicken so we went raw and it was still hearty. Lots of "chewing satisfaction" with this one - boy are my jaws tired lol We look forward to trying it with chicken & marinade next. Thanks again fro sharing this delicious recipe!

  • @BornInTzyon SO glad you liked it. Yeah, there's a little chewing involved. The finer you shred your cabbage, the less chewing. Hey! Look at it this way, you probably burned up all the calories in it!

  • @katzcradul lol!!

  • My hubby and I really like this meal! Tonight I'm taking it to friend's house for dinner, but I didn't add any chicken to the slaw. Instead I had a dozen wings in the fridge that I turned into Asian wings using some of the dressing!

  • @GrammyTammi Wow! That sounds really good.

  • @katzcradul Just finished up dinner and everyone gave the Asian wings and slaw a thumbs up!! I even caught a couple snackin' on the crunchies...LOL. I'll definitely be adding this to my favorite meals!!!

  • @GrammyTammi That's great. Glad it was a hit.

  • You have too much information not to share...hope you are here for a long time to come...

  • looks yummy....

  • I made it.....wonderful...love your videos...are you on Facebook?

  • @nellene66 Glad you liked it. I'm not on Facebook. They as too many questions when you sign-up...will never be on Facebook and not sure how much longer I'll be on YouTube.

  • looks yummy gonna have to try hat. Blessings!

  • Thank you so much for showing me a way to use the many, many packages of ramen that I have that are ready to expire. I made a ton of your salad topping this weekend and put it in the fridge. Do you think I can freeze it?

  • @Gardeninggirl1107 Oh, sure. You can freeze it with no problem.

  • I have a similar recipe. I use the season packet and use more oil and of course you have a lot of add ins . But you can make it real simple by using the season packet mixing it in the sugar and vinegar and oil for the dressing. I will try the toasting of ramen noodles. I think that may help it stand up to the dressing. Thanks for the idea.

  • @sassylassy01 The packets use to contain a lot of preservatives and MSG. I don't know if they still do. I just always toss them out. Thanks for commenting.

  • Why do we only see your hands? I like seeing the person that is talking....

  • @nellene66 There are lots of folks who feel comfortable being on camera, but I'm not one of them.

  • Im new to your channel and Im reallt enjoying it~..really gives me the insperation to start a food Pantry type deal...my only problem is I have NO room for extra things... may I ask what it is you call the Camera girl?.. Thanks for sharing...this looks yummy..Your pantry must be amazing..

     T

  • @nkr1695 I too have food stuck everywhere...in every possible space, crook and cranny. I may have to show some of my more clever storage place in the future. My camera girl is my 11 year old daughter and we call her 'PrepperA". Thanks for asking...she's my right hand person...always such a good helper.

  • Love how you did the noodle topping. I'll have to try that. I make Korean slaw which is finely sliced cabbage and Korean hot sauce. Next time I make it, I'll add your topping. Thanks.

  • Thank You Katz for another great ideal...

  • It looks so good and I am sure the toasting of the ramen, sesame and almonds make it taste extra good. I am going to try it, cabbage are on sale here too. Thanks, I enjoy your videos very much.

  • I really like how you put it together....I see a dinner for next week...Thanks so much for sharing...

  • I will have to try this it looks fabulous. It doesn't always have to be about Prepping, we all love spending time with you and your family. I can't wait to try this I'm with Noreen my mouth is watering! Thank you once again you are so appreciated!

    Linda:)

  • I like to toast mine too. :) Such a good recipe. Thanks so much for sharing!

  • Mouth is watering...cabbage in the fridge...this is on the menu for tomorrow! Thank you do much for sharing the recipe.

  • im kinda new to this dehydrating stuff...but the ground up ginger you have, is that the same "ground ginger" that you would bake with also? btw...that salad looks delicious! thanks so much for the upload!

  • @TXnineandout Yes, it's the same as ground ginger, just so much fresher and no preservatives.

  • SOOO making this for dinner tomororow night! Thank you! :)

  • @lorilei73 Let me know how it turns out. Hope you love it!

  • @katzcradul Sure will.. :)

  • @katzcradu WOW! We LOVED this recipe...even our super picky won't eat cabbage teen loved it! 16 year old son ate 2 plates..lol. Thank you so so much for posting it!

  • @lorilei73 I told you even non cabbage lovers usually like this dish. I know you've got to feel good about getting a 16 year old to eat something this healthy! Thanks for coming back and letting me know how you liked it.

  • You know, if you don't like cabbage, just move along! You don't have to click the dislike button to show your loathing of cabbage! Geesh!

  • @katzcradul Sorry guys, but when you bust your tailend to make these videos, it's annoying to have to put up with trolls!

  • I knew a lady once who used to make a similar slaw and she would never share the recipe (I hate that!) I love this recipe. My mouth was watering just watching you prepare it. I could taste the flavors in that dressing. I love that flavor profile. So delicious! Love it! Noreen : )

  • @atticus9799 Thanks, Noreen. When I read your word 'flavor', I remembered that I forgot to list ginger in the dressing. Oops! Going to go add it now.
