@WeDoHaveCookies The salt does not dissovle into the base. The soap base is just a layer on top of the salts. The salts will, however, dissolve in the tub when used.

@mreinstein48 Yes, you just pop it out of the glass and drop into tub. Use the top soap layer to wash up and the salts will dissolve in your bath water. :))

would food colouring work?? or does it have to be sea salt colourant or soap colourant?

The salts color the water slightly, but there's not enough color to stain the skin.

How is this supposed to be used? or is it just for looking purpose only?

Actually, the salts can be used in the tub. With the tip of a kitchen knife, gently pry the top layered of soap from the salts. Pour salts into warm bath water and use the top layer of soap for washing up.
