Good episode, thanks for all the great Info. I actually planted garlic 2 weeks ago. I used 3 different types of hard neck varieties. I always wanted to try planting garlic but this will be my first time trying It. Hope everyone gets some nice garlic next year.

I planted my garlic about 2 weeks ago and it's growing already, is that ok? do I cover it with leaves to protect it over the winter? I am in eastern PA
@cheetah063 its unusual that it is growing, you can mulch it with straw or chopped up leaves if you like. the part that is growing will probably die off in winter, and then it will start up in spring again. thx, eric.
