  • WILL YOU MARRY ME?

  • Hi, I am restoring a Ruttman brigg and stratton engine of 6.5 hp, the only problem I have is the issue that has no brakes, try putting a second star to stop the tire tracera but for the engine and I have to re-start the engine, I recommend for this matter, I would greatly appreciate your opinion.

  • STURGIS!!

  • what type of piping did you use for the frame

  • where did the seat come from?

  • could yu imagine hat thing witha turbo on it? it would be sweel or witha side blower intake scoop man the posibilitys!!!!!!

  • @ridinhonda4life I'm actually in the pre-build stages of another turbocharged project. It will be incredible when finished.

  • @radicalnegative1 make a vid as soon as you get done i wanna see it!!!!!!!

  • Nice bike, what are the dimensions of both front and rear tires?

  • I was wondering i have one of these 212cc engines on my gocart did you take the govener of the engine bc myne doesnt go that fast and im only 15

  • How did you attach the sprocket to the round shaft?

  • @BumpinPioneer I used locking collars to align the sprocket and to keep it from moving laterally along the shaft.

  • Any plans on painting it :P ?

  • Would you recomend this for me to put into my two seat off-raod go kart? and do you think i could acheive about the same speed as you with it in the kart?

  • @trevorthetremor I think the engine would do fine. You may need to use a device like a torque converter or other sort of CVT to get the best acceleration and top end speed possible out of your setup.

  • what kinda chain clutch is that?

  • @JohnDeere30201 It's a centrifugal clutch.

  • @JohnDeere30201 it looks like a max tork ss cluch =3- same as mine

  • cool vids man. keep it up. engineering ftw

  • take that screen off the muffler youll be sirprised at how much smoother it runs at least thats how it was for me...

  • Dude if it runs 50 mph I would have it certified lol it looks fun to ride I want to build one

  • on a side note your lucky that it didnt break down while you were that far out.. i never trust these things

  • @locutus340 its called fath and no one minds a little walk from time to time haahahaa =3-

  • isnt it nice to live out in bum fuck egypt no one on the road and oyu can ride stuff like this.. try riding this in the city i wish i could

  • @locutus340 Yes. Its is awesome out here.

  • that beats my 3.0hp mini bike i have a grey hound 6.5 on my gokart i should just buy another one and put it on my mini bike

  • allot of traffic on your road loll!

  • @ZiggyOconnell I was probably the first one down the road that day.

  • dude that thing is bad ass

  • How fast does it go?

  • @LongBoardingPlace I got it up to around 50 mph.

  • @radicalnegative1 i think u like the predator engine

  • Can you show your throttle linkage how did you get the quick response

  • What gear ratio are you running? Im looking at doing the same with a 8:1

  • @eartaker I had a 12 tooth sprocket on the front and a 61 tooth sprocket on the back. That comes out to 5.08:1.

8:1 will definitely provide a ton of torque and acceleration.

  • I wouldnt trust that front tire at 50mph... hate to see you get hurt.. Nice video..

  • freaking sick!!! I would get a wider front tire, and tilt the handlebars forwards a bit, but it is freaking sick for being a budget build

  • like how the clutch is on backwards lmfao

  • @lazurin1 All clutches of this style can be mounted either way. I chose to mount it with the chain on the outside because it gave me about 2" more to move the engine as close to the mounting plate as possible, since I could not move the rear sprocket (the fender was a little wide and would interfere with the chain).

  • thats not 50mph

  • Thank you so much, also is there any problems you encountered? Like with the throttle or sprockets or anything?

  • @mrfunnytitz No, not really. Just make sure everything lines up before you bolt anything down or cut anything. That includes making sure your axle, wheel, sprocket, hub, and brakes spin true and that nothing is binding up. Usually small size roller chain (I used #35) is very forgiving, so even if it's not perfect - like mine - it will still work.

  • im making a mini bike and a mini chopper so im planning on buying two of these, 1. is it a good quatily engine. 2. does it mount with bolts easily onto the mounting plate. 3. how much was this whole build. thanks

  • @mrfunnytitz The engine is perfect for a minibike. I have had no problems with it - It runs smooth and it runs forever. I'd recommend you purchase the warranty on it though. The mounting plate I had on my mini chopper was 3/16" plate steel that I found, so I had to drill new holes. The mounting pattern is in metric, but it didn't cause me any issues. The cost was a lot more than expected (around $400). The live axle setup, sprocket, hub, and brakes were the most expensive parts.

  • hey, thanks for posting this vid! and congrats on the bike. 1 question. where did you find the clutch / how much / do you have a link??? I've been researching this stuff a little, i plan to make a bike as well.

  • @fingerfisty I got my clutch from my local hardware store, but any Tractor Supply or Grainger store would have one. The one I am using is a 12 tooth #35 chain clutch for a 3/4" shaft.

  • can you do a video on how you set up your throttle i want to do a mini bike conversion with this motor

  • @97bansheeboy Unfortunately I can't. I recently moved away for college (far far away) and don't have access to my stuff. However, the engine comes with provisions to hook up your throttle, which are all inclusive except for the cable. It has clamps and set screws already there for you.

  • why you take the stickers off the engine? lol

  • @djbinkey I didn't really like them.. I thought that the engine and the bike looked better without the red stickers.

  • Pretty sweet! But are those tires rated for those speeds?

  • @hooverrandy Not at all.. especially that rear lawnmower tire haha

  • that bike looks sweet. perfect the way it is.

Hey those roads look awful familiar.. can ya hit me up with a PM telling me the road names to see if I'm right? hah

  • needs a straight pipe exhaust system :) Nice bike, I want one :)

  • awesome

  • Nice needs some paint.

  • @CubCollecter I think I have a weird obsession with rust colored things.

  • @radicalnegative1 Don't we all.

  • @radicalnegative1 lol me too.

  • @radicalnegative1 its cool i do to lol =3-

  • you should take the origoinal tank off and jus have the sportster tank. just an idea .)

  • @urnotme07 Yeah I was debating on what I should do for that. I think it looks a little bare and open without the original tank, but I'll probably take it off in the future.
