candle trick with the wii

This its a stupid idea. A local boy was set alight copying this 'trick' plus the wax would surely drip all on the TV if used for long enough. I would suggest trying out 2 led candles which would be a lot safer.

Wow this was fascinating to figure out how the wii remotes actually work.

We did it using 2 remote controls, I held to remotes about a foot apart and held down the volume down buttons, my friend then pressed the play button

The candles is good if you're by yourself but if u got a friend just use 2 remote controls and hold down the volume down buttons

I dont know all the science but this shit is workin with one candle, 2 is better if your playing an all wii remote game like wii sports or legen of zelda, but jsut to start a game like brawl then switch to your controller (gc) and your all good.

What you have to do w/ the remotes is. PRESS # or any button that is similar at the same time consistantly. You will get little flashes but it works. My sensor bar broke and Im broke lol, So I took my remotes and I can FINALLY PLAY BRAWL AFTER 2 WEEKS

Yup, I saw my friend doing it, it's pretty fun. However, I have to admit that I hate the one who has found this trick, because you need to don't have a life to find this, or to break your sensor bar. But if you are able to break your sensor bar, then you don't deserve a Wii.

how can it work i meant the sensor bar collects datta and sends the datta to the wii directly via cable but candles have no cables and realy the only thing a candle can do is reflect radio waves (like microwave waves)

i read a little bit about it, but dont know the whole thing, apparently all the sensor bar does is give off ir signals and the wii picks it up sort of like an access point to determine how far it is from the screen, the lights give off light or infrared also (not sure), so the wii mote picks that up, and the system picks it up possibly through its wi-fi.

The sensor bar only does one thing--it emits IR (infrared) light. Each side (left and right) houses a number of IR LEDs and all the cord does is direct power from the Wii itself to power the LEDs.

Very simply, the Wii-mote uses the two points of IR to triangulate its position.

Ok heres a lesson for you stupid idiot chiper12 The only reason the sensor bar plugs into the wii is for power for the led lights inside of the sensor bar, The only thing the sensor bar does it emit an infared light "Heat" And the wii mote senses it and know whats happening so the candels work as a backup sensor bar. Of course when i get my wii i'll be using candles for far play and sensor bar for close play. And i wont burn down my house.

The only purpose of the senosr bar is to create infrared light. The console is merely powering the bar.

the IR from the bar is received by the wii-mote. It sends its location to the wii by blue tooth.

Chiper your STUPID and Pdav it works really simple. Just throw away ur sensor bar. Then grab two candles and lite them,

P.S. lilkik make a video and point at the back off the wii, and make sure the sensor bar isnt near it. Then when ur done BLOW OUT the candles and you'll see that it wont work

yah, i made a second video a second ago, i took the sensor bar away, put it under clothes, lit the candles then it worked, so hopefully they will believe after seeing that.
