MrTalkbox here Just wanted 2 clarify some things. Most know me frm playing an instrument called the talkbox. I stepped away frm the talkbox 2 show my vocal ability on my Christmas song. I auto tuned my vocals 2 make it sound close 2 my talkbox sound (& it's not even close). But 4 the record, Talkbox & Auto tune r totally different. It takes more skill 2 do talkbox. Auto tune is an easy way 2 sound like talkbox but it doesn't. Check out one of my tunes on my mrtalkbox channel. U'll hear the diff
a lot of people are dissing the auto-tune but if you would think about its history, you might like it. Peter Frampton used it before T-pain and it's evolved a lot since then. The original auto-tone required you to have a tube in your mouth and I think it took more skill than what you hear today.
