Are you recording with compression?
Because if you do and you have a large hdd you should try to record without compression, if you can't do that with camtasia you should try the fraps demo

its more the type of ram and graphics you have aswell as the quad

in single player commands put the command (//) that make your pickaxe to destroy everything instantly so you dont need to use the fist mod
