  • Makes my soul storm.

She really is here on Earth from the heavens to show us what violin playing is all about.

    What an artist.

  • I don't think this is one of the best performances of the 3rd Movement, in my opinion the speed is very varied and MUCH to overdone. I think a piece like this needs to simplified more by players as to show what Bruch really wanted from it, not their complete intepretation. Of course they can make the concerto their own but they have to keep some of the orginality that Bruch wanted - Just my opinion.

  • Wonderful music by a master composer and virtuoso Violinist. I was lucky in also being able to see this played by Sarah Chang at the Royal Festival Hall ,Southbank centre last week ,thursday 21st April, it was a staggering performance by Sarah, which I dont think was possible to better.

The Orchestra on the night was the Royal Philarmonic.

  • What a thrill!!

  • 2:16 omg . she climaxed

  • I almost cried too. Could you see the passion and emotion in her; she is the best~~~

  • Most beautifully done. I respect her so much.

  • Bravo!! Long may she play so vibrantly!! and long may he conduct so masterfully!!

  • you know, some very high-level fiddlers, don't think Bruch did justice to the 3rd movement of this concerto. They are all crazy....and/or perhaps they just never heard KW Chung play it.

  • What a composition and the virtuoso bring it to life.

  • Kyung Wha Chung is a lady with soul. It's never a case of automatic pilot with her - she feels every note she plays.

  • Piękne.Bardzo dziękuję.

  • I almost cried

  • yeah I can't help but cry.... omg omg omg

  • HOLY CRAP. To think that she's over 50 in here..

  • @karrotlover Playing over 50 is not that hard to believe anymore. Look Ida Haendel who is still playing at 80 and Aaron Rosand and Nathan Milstein who played into his older years. Age does not matter especially when you already so good. 50 is young. She should still be playing!

  • Wonderful combination of emotions, technique and strength in her playing! There are something lacking in other younger violinists nowadays...
