Im running a td05 16G, stock my00 headers with a 3" TBE into an xforce twin tip muffler. I'm sick of the drone it produces and im trying to gauge what my sytem will sound like with one of these.
@LukeLioux hey buddy, yep, still running the TD04. I used to have an MY99 with a 3" tbe which used to drone a hell of a lot. This system does not drone at all (even when fully open) but I'm not sure if that is because of the improved noise insulation on the MY06 or the system itself. If you have heaps of drone with an X-Force twin tip, a Varex muffler probably won't help unless you kept it closed all the time in which case it would be stock silent. Have you thought about installing a resonator?
thanks for the vid mate, i got an 06 wrx CS9 and was wondering how the sound varies with the varex exhaust.
can i ask where your from and where you got it done?
im in vic and was looking for an experience place the exact same exhaust set up fitted. also how much did it cost ya?

how much did you get the exhaust for and how much was labor?
