Secondo me le interpretazioni possono essere molteplici e tutte "esatte": quella di un'amicizia con un'amicizia reale idossolubile o quella del non voler scoprire la realtà e rimanere ancora un pò in questa situazione di limbo.

Credo sia invece da escludere l'interpretazione di un'amicizia con la droga, visto che Martin (che io sappia) non ha mai fatto uso di droghe, se non abuso di alcool.
