  • this shit is crazy. i dont get it haha

  • The second memory, appears to be the 10th seconds correct? so the 3rd one would be a minute?

  • @Fireblades212 Yup.

  • Can we please have a download?

  • CNBmincrafts tutorial is better

  • @niknakman427 This isn't a tutorial, so I'd hope an actual tutorial is better then this video. :)

  • yay finally a redstone clock i understand :)

  • Tutorial Video?

  • What clock is used to power the whole thing to get it to pulse in ;seconds'

  • @callumkhang It's using a four phase piston clock.

  • Question: how do you make it so that the signal from a punchcard activates the next one ? It seems you need two separate signals to activate the pistons alternatively, and that punchcard only has one ?

  • @rwandrall1 I have a video that explains how the punchcard memory works. In short, the signal causes a clock to cycle once.

  • what the fuck ???

  • holy shit this is the *smallest* 7 segment clock built? that would take me weeks to do!

  • @hXc232 I've seen two that are a bit smaller, but not by a huge amount.

  • @JuryDutySummons well thank you anyway, you've opened my mind a bit to what redstone can really do :D

  • I absolutly cannot wait until the tutorial videos are put up.

  • When can we have a tutorial??

  • @JohnKapsis1985 I'm slowly working on it. The clock is made of 5 or so separate components, so I'm doing individual tutorials on each of those items.

  • [insert irrelivent comment here]

  • @NuclearFallout321 [Insert comment correcting spelling]

  • you know you could make multiplayer maps download able? just go to world on your server folder and make a copy of that file and just put in in saves in your minecraft.jar?

  • Sorry to point this out but... "this is my bother's minecraft digital clock" unless you're hiding an insult in the description XD And we need a download! :D

  • @calvcoll Doh. And... at some point I may. It's on a server and getting the map isn't as easy as I would like.

  • @JuryDutySummons maybe a schematic?

  • was thinking of making it , but when i saw what was on the back holy shit no way!!!

  • @einalwaysthere haha... yeah, well, this version in much less complex then other designs I've seen. :)

  • Why can't someone just make a wristwatch mod?

  • @unohoo09 Why not just wear a watch? Because, this isn't about telling the time - it's about stretching the limits of the possible.

  • woh.......i thought i was a genius for making glass lol

  • 1 like from a each person is not enough

  • Awesome I wanna help build one of these on my friends server. I'll subscribe if you make a nice in depth tutorial. once again this is AWESOME!

  • this is truly awesome. thumbed up, faved, and subscribed. you or your brother should do a tutorial or least a more in depth walkthrough of this. if not the entire clock at least the punch card concept. please respond to this comment.

  • holy fuck.... this is retarded... in an envious way

  • @MyNameIsMaxYo :P My brother will appreciate that.

  • WOW! this is just amazing and awesome! :D

  • So those memory units are like those old punch card computers?

  • this is WAY BEOND my abilitys, i can bearly wire a door. but you making a fricking clock, i could never do that. your a mega smart man :P

  • @Unhitable1 No life? Like I said in the video, it only took me 1 day to figure it out, and build it. Even the busiest person out there has a day to him/her self once in a while.

  • @ukilliheal Obviously, you have more time on your hands than that. Look at all the stuff in the background.

  • @Unhitable1 Much of that is mine. You have no place here judging how we choose to spend our free time. Get lost.

  • @Unhitable1 As mentioned in the video, this was done on a multi-player server.

  • map pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaseeeeeeeeeeee

  • We can't hear you

  • I do have to agree with chewymilkybar. The volume could be upped just a little. But other than that I love ur stuff. This is absolutely amazing. I understood about 15% of what was happening lol. Keep up the good work.

  • Please please make a tutorial on how to make the entire thing

  • punchcards. My god, PUNCHCARDS. Mincraft is amazing.

  • Those cycling memory loopy punch card things are genius. So compact and apparently your clock says they are very accurate and consistant. My regular redstone memory banks are massive.. your bits are literally 1 block, lol. The rest is just for reading.

  • @tucense Yeah, I love the punch-cards. Someone just needs to work out an easy way to write to the memory on the fly:D

  • @JuryDutySummons when you said smallest 7 segment clock made.. I went and rebuilt this.. very small. HAHA. The 7 segment displays I was able to get down to 3 wide by 5 tall. the corner lights between segments overlap and use the same torch, and everything behind it stays within 7 wide.

  • Guys, you seriously have to make the sound louder. I barely could hear anything.

  • @ulidtko Not to be too sarcastic, but there is a volume control at the bottom left of your screen.

  • @JuryDutySummons ... and it is at its maximum. Still I have to wear a headset to be able to hear what you and your friend are talking about.

  • @JuryDutySummons my volume was at 100 percent and i could still barely hear anything

  • @TheLuckeeThirteen On my computer it's set at 25% and it's great. I'm sorry it's not loud enough for you, but it's hard for me to balance it for everyone if it sounds fine on my computer.

  • @JuryDutySummons yeah i understand.. great build though!

  • @JuryDutySummons can you put the world so we can download it?

  • @rokc787 At some point perhaps. It's on a server and I don't have easy access to the world file.

  • @JuryDutySummons ok man

  • @JuryDutySummons Yeah well, I know you can hear it alright, but I'm yet another person who could barely hear it while its at 100%

  • @chewymilkybar Hmm ok. For my next video I'll make it "overly loud" for me.

  • @ulidtko The sound does seam a little low when compared to the sound levels on netflix, but without adjusting the sound level i can go from netflix to this video and hear everything said. But since my headphone volume is only set to %30, i have to assume that all you all need to do is turn up ur volume a little.

  • I love the punch card memory, that clock is actually such an incredibly simple concept when you see it work. Great job :D

  • Are there any plans to make a clock which you can see in the day?

  • @giacomand Not at the moment.

  • holy crap.... that's amazing :O That redstone must of taken at the VERY least 2 months lol

  • @Gamer3241M 1 day.

  • Cool project! The piston/glowstone approach may be able to save a couple circuits here and there.

  • Too quiet.

  • AMAZING

  • [insert comment about how amazing this is here]

  • @maribakumon [insert humble but appreciative comment]

  • @JuryDutySummons [insert comment about unicorns here]

  • @JuryDutySummons hmmm just curious, is it possible to replace redstone torches display with goldstone piston powered?? or there isn't enough space ;s It would make things a lot better during day.

  • @damian9070 There is plenty of space behind the display, the redstone torches could be replaced with pistons.

  • That is utterly amazing

  • I have question..

HOW THE FUQ DID YOU DO THIS?

  • when u looked behind it me: HOLY SANTA CLAUSE SHIT

  • Wow, ur really good at redstone! O_O i can't even make both of my doors open correctly at same time by using redstone xD

  • TUTORIAL LOL!

  • cool

  • WOW just amazing.... does your brother work fo Mr Gates or Mr Jobs? :D

  • add days... then weeks... then months.. then, well just keep going

  • Holy Crap! I made one of these the exact same way yesterday after seeing your video the other day. I made my digital display in copyable units that fit together easy.

Each one was 10 by 27 by 12 so a 8 digit display would be about 80 by 27 by 12 , but i would probably need to adapt it to run seconds/minuets/hours instead of counting the seconds... so i would need to add some redstone. I cheated though and used mcedit :P

  • Seems nice

  • too awesome for words..

  • Sweet, Tutorial pl0x? haha

  • @robertvaynshteyn The most we could do as far as a tutorial would be to break it down in pieces and explain how to build each piece.

  • @ukilliheal I was kidding about a tutorial, this clock is an insane minecraft build. Another awesome creation with pistons.

  • @robertvaynshteyn I am planning on doing some tutorials... but it's not a simple prospect.

  • @robertvaynshteyn Nonsense, we are working on a tutorial.
