Question: how do you make it so that the signal from a punchcard activates the next one ? It seems you need two separate signals to activate the pistons alternatively, and that punchcard only has one ?
you know you could make multiplayer maps download able? just go to world on your server folder and make a copy of that file and just put in in saves in your minecraft.jar?
Sorry to point this out but... "this is my bother's minecraft digital clock" unless you're hiding an insult in the description XD And we need a download! :D
this is truly awesome. thumbed up, faved, and subscribed. you or your brother should do a tutorial or least a more in depth walkthrough of this. if not the entire clock at least the punch card concept. please respond to this comment.
@Unhitable1 No life? Like I said in the video, it only took me 1 day to figure it out, and build it. Even the busiest person out there has a day to him/her self once in a while.
I do have to agree with chewymilkybar. The volume could be upped just a little. But other than that I love ur stuff. This is absolutely amazing. I understood about 15% of what was happening lol. Keep up the good work.
Those cycling memory loopy punch card things are genius. So compact and apparently your clock says they are very accurate and consistant. My regular redstone memory banks are massive.. your bits are literally 1 block, lol. The rest is just for reading.
@JuryDutySummons when you said smallest 7 segment clock made.. I went and rebuilt this.. very small. HAHA. The 7 segment displays I was able to get down to 3 wide by 5 tall. the corner lights between segments overlap and use the same torch, and everything behind it stays within 7 wide.
@TheLuckeeThirteen On my computer it's set at 25% and it's great. I'm sorry it's not loud enough for you, but it's hard for me to balance it for everyone if it sounds fine on my computer.
@ulidtko The sound does seam a little low when compared to the sound levels on netflix, but without adjusting the sound level i can go from netflix to this video and hear everything said. But since my headphone volume is only set to %30, i have to assume that all you all need to do is turn up ur volume a little.
@JuryDutySummons hmmm just curious, is it possible to replace redstone torches display with goldstone piston powered?? or there isn't enough space ;s It would make things a lot better during day.
Holy Crap! I made one of these the exact same way yesterday after seeing your video the other day. I made my digital display in copyable units that fit together easy.
Each one was 10 by 27 by 12 so a 8 digit display would be about 80 by 27 by 12 , but i would probably need to adapt it to run seconds/minuets/hours instead of counting the seconds... so i would need to add some redstone. I cheated though and used mcedit :P
this shit is crazy. i dont get it haha

The second memory, appears to be the 10th seconds correct? so the 3rd one would be a minute?

What clock is used to power the whole thing to get it to pulse in ;seconds'
callumkhang 4 months ago
@callumkhang It's using a four phase piston clock.

rwandrall1 4 months ago
@rwandrall1 I have a video that explains how the punchcard memory works. In short, the signal causes a clock to cycle once.

When can we have a tutorial??
JohnKapsis1985 6 months ago
@JohnKapsis1985 I'm slowly working on it. The clock is made of 5 or so separate components, so I'm doing individual tutorials on each of those items.

@ulidtko Not to be too sarcastic, but there is a volume control at the bottom left of your screen.

@JuryDutySummons ... and it is at its maximum. Still I have to wear a headset to be able to hear what you and your friend are talking about.
