A bud of mine has a 80's peavey patriot and it has the exact same wiring inside but with a  dimarzio pup. That thing's a trip.

Alot of people thought Eddie Van Halen was weird with his frankenstrat. But he made em work, even down to the half nickel wedged on it. Youd probably sit there n bag it. If I was the kid with that guitar I'd tell you to go F yourself. Your arrogance sucks. Even if you call something simple like changing machine heads a guitar repair ,It sucks that youd go through the effort like this just to bag what some kids loves. FAIL.!!!

i work at my local guitar repair shoppe here in oklahoma and have seeen some crazy things, example a kid had this wonderful looking guitar but he had striped this finish and left drinks on his guitar to make rings. I was LIKe WHAT, he then replied" like rings, rings are cool" i asked whats wrong with the guitar then i noticed the fork. he said he couldnt get it to stop humming so he removed the front pickup and solder the tips of a fork to the exposed wires. so yeah kid jacked up his guitar

I didn't do any of that stuff that you see.

My friend got it at a pawn shop and wanted me to get it to stay in tune for him.
