Super easy and well explained ! This is a must at my hubby's house for birthdays but my mom in law gave me such tough to follow instructions over phone that I never tried it. Can't wait to surprise my husband now :) Thanks
you sound so sweet :D we have a similar recipe in my country but without the fennel seeds. They probably taste and smell a 100 times better with the seeds in :)
Wow...Manjula aunty,u bring back some old memories, almost forgot that this used to be one of my favourites back in 90's,thank u so much...iam ur biggest fan,u made these receipe look so simple, you should do a TV series in food network...
Awesome!! I used to eat this when I was little. You brought all those memories back!! Thank you Manjula Aunty. I remember my Aunt putting Cardamom powder in those. I cannot thank you enough for this recipe!!
I watch your recepies all the time and I enjoy them a lot. Recently I made the pasta with double cream and spinach and it was delicious! thank you xxx
Manjula Aunty thank you so much for this receipe my husband has been requesting me to make gul gulas for soo long, never found a simple receipe till now. :)
Can i also add butternut quash/pumkin to the mixture? i ask because in southafrica they make gulgula with mashed butternut squash to make gul gulas like a fritter

Wow Gulgulas, this is the first time I heard the recipe and reference from India. Mostly Fijians Indians make them. I grew up with my mom/grandma/aunties making gulgulas during Holi times, and for offering to Lord Ganeshji. But the recipe I have is different. Will try this. Thanks for lovely recipe.
Yummmmm....gulgula LOOKIN' GREAT,.....and i can just imagine the heavenly taste and aroma,....thumbs up to ya dear Manjula and thankin' ya for the COOL share!! = )
i tried this and my husband loved it.. thanks Manjula aunty

Manjula Aunty, if you dust powdered sugar on top of all the cooked gulgulas it will look very nice, especially to young children :-)
