The technology is not that expensive, you can do that multiprojection with a Mac Pro, then 4 video cards at $150 each and one software called Modul8 that cost $400 that will recognize each of the 7 video output (the 8th is your monitor) and make them work as one screen.

I dont see whats so "Magical" about it. Anyone can put up some projectors and show some movie/cartoon scenes off the side of a boat. And for a large company like Disney, its child's play.

I went to the World of Color show and it was awesome! This... not as much.All the pictures were projected onto the water, not a screen..

I don't know. This doesn't make me want to see The World of Color show. Speaking of the World of Color show I hope they do make changes to the show. The show spent too much time on "The Little Mermaid", I believe 2 whole songs and left out or showed barely a glimps of many Disney classics, some maybe only a second or 2. Anybody else notice that about the show?

@elpresidio I believe the reason The World of Color spent so much time on The LIttle Mermaid is probably because Disney is promoting The Little Mermaid ride due to come out next year. In other words a commercial.

I don't see how this makes you wanna see World of colour... It just makes you wanna see this .. surly :S ... i mean... these road shows are only running for a few days... world of colour is there for a while :S.. Besides this is rather different to world of colour... and apart from the logo at the end.. i TBH... wouldn't have realized the two were linked... had it not been for the youtube name and the logo at the end.

@clevm002 You are missing the online piece that went with this that featured a sizzle video all about World of Color. This video alone, you're right, doesn't sell the show. It is the entire package when viewed live online that sells World of Color.
