OMG amnesia is not scary and the monsters are lame (like the dude with the big mouth).but i will admit that its got good gameplay elements. like making the player feel helpless by not giving him weapons or a way to fight back and its got a decent atmosphere, although it gets extremely repetitive. buts its not scary. so go play silent hill 1, get a new pair of pants, and talk to me....

I think nemesis deserves a spot on this list, he may not be the creepiest of all bosses, but you panic so much when that bastard rocks up when you have very limited ammo, health and weak weapons and it's your first time playing it

At the end of the game, the first sighting of the Ultimate Being is pretty freaky, then it gets even scarier and stronger and faster... then the chase scene at the end is downright SCARY the first time you play it!

Personally i think Mor'Ladim from world of warcraft (classic) should be on here. When you just started duskwood and you see that gold-armored skeleton your like, Cool a boss! His agg radius is fucking insane, his amor is through the roof, and he is resistant to most attacks. He comes and stomps the shit out of you.

In Bioshock 2, the only thing scarier than the spider splicers are the Big Sisters. Right before they try to attack you they do that screeching thing and your initial response is "I'm screwed." They have made me change my pants multiple times.

Personally the regular regenerator from RE4 was #1, or at least mroe then the iron maiden simply because of the damn sound they made...whenever i heard that sound i stopped and pulled a RE2 ninja walk to cautiously advance, the entire time shivering whne im not even cold...like seriously...wanna fuck with anybody in a horror game?...just play that noise and they will be shitting themselves
