Yup- my British Bulldog cost me $2000 AUD and I had to drive for hours to get him too! And when I first got him he had some mange problem with his hair, they generally cost around $4000 AUD- Mack was cheap! He was completely worth it though! :)
My inlaws have jackabees....don't know if I spelt that right.......the point is the mommy dog humps the daddy dog......I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it........at least 5 times.......lol O and I love English bulldongs. I've always been a cat person......I have a big fat orange fuzzy cat named Garfield but if I get a dog, it will be an english bulldog and I'll name him Odie for Garfield............:)

If you find your ever haveing problems with her breathing and its starting to get serious squeez some lemon juice down her throat. They actually choke on the flem build up in their throat and the lemon breaks it up efficiently and fast. Sorry if you already knew this! Ive lost my Bulldog to the summer time heat and this advice came too late from the vet, hope I could help out =]
she is beautiful, I have a bulldog too, and since we live in a colder climate she doesn't have this sort of difficulty breathing (except hottest time of summer but she has a doggie pool where she cooles off if its warm), she is my baby and is loved by everyone in the family :D she is spoiled rotten (I know I know bad mommy to spoil her baby like that) I will not put her through having puppies but she keeps protecting everyone smaller than her(puppies that visit or kids), and also the family :D
I love how people talk shit on bulldogs, because they're too broke to afford one. Its like having a baby - yes they are that hard to take care of. Believe me I've got both - kids and a bulldog! I love my bully!!!

you should get a comatose elephant if you want to spend a lot of money on a lump of flesh that you have to look after like all the time, and which dies at the drop of a hat.
they do that when they get tired or agitaded..? jaja i have seven of them and one of them is really hard to take care of him he cant go outside when its could because of his breathing problem he starts having breathing problems but they are great pets overall
I love the Bulldog rase, but I cant afford a dogg like this. Im from Romania and here it costs over 600 euros (thats a whole salary here). Please if anyone has one to give to adoption I wold be very gratefull

are you fucking joking me? you learn something about the breed and if you have a bully i feel bad for it because you probly dont wash its wrinkles atleast once a day, feed it good food, brush it atleast twice a day (agianst grain once, with grain twice or three time) get it some exersise and yes, bulldogs do like to get out, dont let there steriotypes fool you. then you have to make sure you dont over work it while exercising. theres a handfull of things you have to do with bulldogs not withsome

all bulldogs with propper caring owners wil live a fantastic and happy life, any responsible bulldog owner will know how to keep their dogs life a happy and healthy one. I believe most bulldog owners are great ones, i have a bully who is now two, she can breath quite heavily after walks but she exercises a lot and is a very active dog in herself. i have seen though that those who do not reguarly exercise their bully's from being a puppy will have a bully that suffers for it. x

Summer gets very excited and appears to have labored breathe. Actually in this video she is just in from a walk and panting already. She is not in distress. Summer normally cannot be heard breathing.
I do not know how many puppies she has had, we purchased her from a responsible breeder and have given her a pampered pets life. She is spayed and we have no knowledge of her pups. I wish I did, she has a wonderful temperament and loves all people.
I'm sorry that I did assume the worst, but you must forgive me for my mistake. She has obviously had a litter of pups when this video was taken.
I love bulldogs. I've had 13 over my lifetime. It has become my mission to lambaste anyone who puts these wonderful dogs through the difficult labor and delivery that these sweet dogs must endure, often losing their lives for the greed of their breeder. I'm so glad that she is spayed and has a good parent who loves her.
Thank you for you response. Yes they do go through a difficult labor. All of Summer's puppies were cesarian delivery and she was used as a wet nurse for other bully moms that could not or would not nurse. The end result is that she is stuck with those teets for the rest of her life.

Summer brings me so much joy, I feel angry about your thoughtless ignorant comments. I agree that puppy mills are bad but I encourage you to watch other videos of her I have posted. I think you will find that you have misdirected your hurtful statements and cannot find that she is mistreated nor abused for my personal financial gain.
I am ashamed that I was mean to another person who loves bulldogs as much as I. Thank you too, for adopting her. Too often people buy a cute puppy who often becomes a dog that visits the vet far too often, Then these sweet guys are abandoned, neglected, or worse.
I hope she and you have a long, loving life together. Treasure every day, they go too quickly.I know all too well, I just lost my eleven year old, Patrick on the 16th of March.

Yup I do all that! They're high maintenance but I love my British Bulldog, Mack.
He's exactly the same when he can't find food though... way too lazy to look for it!
