  • Miss Vartan sure was lookin' spiffy in that one photo.

  • Nice effort ,but this song belongs to its composer Buffy Sainte Marie.

  • She does this song beautifully, shares the fragility. Didn't realize Buffy Sainte-Marie wrote this, wonderful songwriter!

  • Quite correctly Ms Hardy was never a political singer, he was more of a yeye era with a lot of romanticism in the lyrics and voice. Nobody forgets such talent.

  • Потрясающе красивая женщина!

  • @Amazonstarship The pictures are all of the singer Francoise Hardy, but thanks for the comment.

  • Love this song Francoise sings with such feeling.

  • @MrFeinstein

I love the song myself, thanks for the comment.

  • She has a new single coming out soon.

  • @andrewthestoopainter

    Thanks, I'll check itunes.

  • Thanks for the comments. ajerseykid, you sure? I've read nothing like that.

  • She's a great talent for sure.

But i heard she turned into a right-wing nut job(?)

  • @ajerseykid No, she 's definitely not "a right-wing nut job" (there's one video on her , dating back to 1996 or so, to be seen on youtube, with an unfortunate ambiguous title, which might have been misleading as to her political opinions, that's all !)

  • @Becky930

Ya, some clip from some French current affairs show with a misleading title. I don't recall reading anything of her politics save some paraphrased anti-militaristic comment. Saying someone is right, left, liberal, conservative etc, means little enough, as those tags mean different things in different places.

  • stunning song

  • I didn't discover Francoise Hardy in the '60s - my loss.

Now, whenever I have a need for some quietly beautiful songs to fill the air, I pull up my FH playlist, and bliss out.

If they had thought to release some of her songs in the U.S., it seems to me they'd have made a small fortune.

I would have bought them, that is for sure.

  • Where could I find this song on mp3? I haven't had any luck with torrents and the likes... :-(

  • This was on some CD I had for ages. Just looked online, the album can still be got for purchase, so it should be somewhere if a person looks long enough.

  • Viva Francoise Hardy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my style icon and such a gorgeous voice...love her!

  • Thanks all for the comments

  • No language could lessen the impact of Francoise's talent.

  • Love this song...

  • ahh.... it was just another boring day at work and then... heaven for 3 minutes and 3 seconds.

  • Thanks for the reply.

  • Hey,that was really a good one. Classic- lives forever...

  • She is perfection itself. xx

  • Thanks for the comment

  • I love her, she is just perfect, I have no words...

Amazing, so classic, so beautiful, so elegant, so lovely, so sweet, so... Françoise!

Thank you very much for the video, great job!

  • Thanks

  • Never heard this song before. amazing. must find the album. some great photos too! 0.38, oh to be that guitar!

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • Wonderful...

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • Very, very beautiful song. I like her version. Would it be alright if you could also provide Glen Campbell version of this very song? And if possible, can you also post on video the song "Oh How You Lied" by Steve Lawrence? Thank you.

  • I'll see. Thanks

  • Very, very nice song. i like her version. can you also provide the version of this song by glen campbell? and also if possible the song "oh how you lied" by steve lawrence. would appreciate it very much. thanks.

  • nice variation on Buffy's classic. I don't know why a million people have't covered this song.

  • It requires the singer to have a great deal of soul! Maybe that's why?

  • Excellant song, great slide show, and sounds kewl.

  • I love this song!!!

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • Seeing that pic at :40 with the plane in the background reminds me of another time. A time when it was safe to fly and when we could meet planes at the gate without all the scare of terrorism. I guess the 70's ended that. I miss the times this phote reminds me of.

  • Yes there is now that small but always possible threat to life when taking a plane. Perhaps the relative cheapness of air travel now is a sort of consolation. The image itself, perhaps some papparazo image, is wonderful. FH has alwayed managed to look stunning.

  • beautiful!

  • Thanks!

  • That chair at :40...lol.. I have to get one. It is divine.

  • Thanks for this beautiful video!!! I really love this song.

    Greetings

    Luisa

  • You are welcome Luisa!

  • HYPNOTIC.

  • It certainly is.

  • You are welcome!

  • Love this song. I think this has to be one of my favourite albums too. Excellent! Thanks!
