Interesting, that you use the jazz and classic setting for OD channel. I also have an ETHOS TLE. First I ordered a CLASSIC but I hated it. I always had to use an EQ to pump up the bass and the OD sounded muddy. I think in this combination the preamp boost works better than in the rock setting. On my ceriatone I only like the PAB with the Mid boost engaged. Without it it sounds to thin for my ears

Yeah good sounds, great to be able to bypass the amps preamp if you ever wanted to eh. Im on the list and should get mine around FEB 2011. IM getting one with the classic and TLE switch. Im in new zealand. Ill be plugging into a Mark Five Mesa boogie, wonder how that will go, should be stunning. cant wait!
nice playing cont. I was surprised at how good it sounded before you activated the pedal! Great tones. I'm on the list and mine should ship around August 2011 :O

No compressor attached. Gt(tele)->Ethos->Fender TheTwin's PowerIn
If you feel compression, I think it may be Ethos's one or TubeAmp's.

I agree about less feeling bass, added EQ bass, me too.
