  • bye guys marquis i know u plates for the chargers but corey i know u plates for the lions but i dont know what the other team u played for cory

  • they are all dead. the remaining guy was on oprah and said his friends died in his arms of hypothermia

  • Sailor.

    Mariner.

    Boater.

    Seaman.

    All are fine terms.

  • thank god both teams suck.

  • Fish Food

  • Niggas dont know Shit about the ocean...Im a proven seamen and a fisherman...niggas from the hood know as much about fishing as much as Hillbillys because they dont know what there doing..you need a 45 to 60 ft boat to even think about being out on the ocean more than 2 miles or youll be a floating corpse...they boat they were on was like 34ft fishing boat...might as well been a gaud damn dingy.

  • actually they werent in the ocean dumb ass they were in the gulf of mexico, you can go in the gulf with a 20ft boat.

  • @TRANSFORMER2508 ......When its bad weather a 20 ft boat is not safe anywhere gulf or "ocean"

  • @rockdiga wow either you are 12 years old and have no idea what your talking about or mentally handicap...

  • holy shit .. those muthers have HUGE necks..

  • thats why the coastguard intercoms you telling you theres a storm before hand so you can get back to shore idiot..

  • why do pro NFL trying to be fisherman? They did not mention the other three whore and two kegs of beers that were with them. Probably shark dodoo by now. Sorry mom and pop, shit happens!

  • LOL sorry I posted my reply before finishing the video.

  • I didn't really pay attention but did they eventually find the two NFL players

  • I thnk they found one

    Although Im not sure.

  • no they only 1 was found

  • No. They are presumed dead.

  • did they ever find these guys? this shit is old

  • Sigh.

    No. They are presumed dead.

  • Wer dey found?

  • Are you really just trying to bash him. You fool.

  • Your absolutely right, I am bashing him. I am doing so because this fool speaks about that which he does not know. Isnt that the definition of a fool? This guy knows as much about seamanship as I know about knitting, yet here he is talking about it anyway.

  • Hes not trying to be an expert at seamanship

    Dumbass.

  • Then what in the fuck is he talking about saying "they took a wrong-turn in the middle of the ocean"?? Is there a fucking road out there? An intersection? My point was he didnt know what the hell hes talking about and you dont either. So shut the fuck up.

  • @Oldcartoons571 stop being rude and swearing

  • @MrRevwillyg He's trolling. Leave him be.

  • dumbass

  • Yea he was most likely disillusioned from dehydration Bleakley that is. The others let go? why would they do that...its hard to get to say they just gave up?.....strange?

  • let this be a lesson: if you want sea food go to red lobster

  • Nick Schuyler Says Will Bleakley thought he saw a light in the distance. He decided to take off his life jacket and swim to it, but how did he take off his life jacket, if according to Nick, Bleakley never had a lifevest he was only holding on to a floatation device (Cushion) ?

  • there is something more sinister about this story, because the lone survivor's story keeps changing by the day.

  • yeah, that's why I came back to revisit his commentary and I want Cenk to do a segment to reevaluate the whole series of events.

Looking at the boat, there really isn't much to hold onto, and 4 guys holding on to that little motor in rough seas will be prone to scuffling amongst each other. In desperate times where you're fighting for survival and you can probably get away with it, your true "friends" would surface, (hah insert quote from the Joker here)

  • Also, I don't see how the guys would just throw off their life vest and float away. Although it's not a direct quotation from Schuyler from reading the CNN article, I wouldn't use the word some for those 3 other guys, more like 2, or a couple. He probably found out afterwards that they recovered a lifevest by itself (with no body), and so he had to create a story to explain that. I wouldn't be suprised if they fought for the life vests as well.

  • really???? what have u herd? i have been on the story everyday and there has only been one story Skyler has said. to a news paper 2 days ago. and that is the only story.

  • Comment removed

  • Schuyler you retard...pronounced SKYLER....its my first name you dim witted retard!!!

  • no one fuckin cares about you, ooooo its your first name we are all impressed, so he pronounced a name a little wrong who has never done that? so shut the fuck up dumbass

  • Comment removed

  • really Schuyler?? You call the guy a "retard" for not knowing that schuyler is supposed to be pronounced SKYLER!? First of all, all caps? You must really be worked up over this... If I were you I'd be pissed at my parents for spelling my name so fucked up.

  • thank you for removing your prior comment my fellow non-believer, I was scratching my head there for a second :)

  • sad story, probably it was a shitty boat tho

  • i thinkit was a drug deal gon bad...look at it like this: how did just the 1 guy survive and noone else did. if it comes to mere survival i can guarantee that at the point it might be me against u. there is a lot more to that scenario

  • how about their families you fuck, you have any dead family members? I bet you dont miss them do you? fucking asshole. Just bc this is youtube doesnt mean they dont deserve some decency, someone just lost a family member in case you dont realize that

  • People lose family members every day. Every second. Don't pretend it's something special.

  • you are a real slimy piece of shit

  • Yeah, like you really care about them. You don't. No one can possibly actually care about everything. You'd go insane. So stop acting all high and mighty and drop the act.

  • its called decency. You apparently have none. I don't have to be best friends with them to have some compassion for their misfortunate families. I don't see the point you are trying to make, just because a lot of shitty things happen in the world, means no one should care? You truly are an incredible underachiever. A task looks slightly too big and your willing to give up because its acceptable to you to just file it away with all the other crap in the world.

  • No1 is going to miss the lion guy lol

  • hmmm 21 foot boat 30 miles out to sea??? drug deal gone bad? or just stupid ? too cheap to charter a fishing guide? i choose a drug deal gone bad!!!

  • @p65ls for one two of the guys were nfl players so not to cheap to charter a 20 foot boat is plenty big enough to go out 30 miles in the gulf......they made the bad decision when the anchor was stuck and instead of cutting the line they tried to reverse it out when the whether was getting bad....

  • @ls1eater They're practice squad players. They earn just as much as you and me.

  • @shiron236 lolz make as much as you and me???? haha they were not practice squad players, and even if they were prac squad guys make 250k+ a year.......get a clue.

  • I'm not sure about this, but I remember reading about similar life and death situations like this and either through cold or hunger peoples brains or bodies begin to shut down. I think sometimes we place too much emphasis on physical strength or athleticism...in short, thinking we're a lot tougher than we actually are. Humans are extremely weak compared to most animals. Our ability to survive and prosper is based, almost exclusively on our mental attribute s. My condolences to the families.

  • i dont get it the guy who was rescued said they were all holding on to the boat for about 12 hours or so and then the other 3 drifted away wtf how could they just drift away they couldnt swim back to the boat

  • being in the water for more than 24 hours, with no water, no food, you get hypothermia and you become very weak. then you lose your grip and drift away

  • lol i would like to see ou swim in those 15 foot waves or whatever

  • i just heard they called off the search so RIP for both of these players it truly is a sad story

  • What were they doing in a 21-foot boat in the deep sea?? And then there is a storm coming!!!! What were they thinking?

  • that's why they went earlier to go before the storm came, but it came earlier than expected/ underestimated the waves/winds

  • Your profile does not list your age but i am guessing that you are under 30. It is hard for people to remain as hateful and stupid as you are for much longer than that without having a life changing event that either changes their outlook or otherwise inhibits their desire to print hateful things . Usually for Nazis, it is an arrest and prison for molesting young boys or suicide when the prospect of being a black man`s bitch in prison is too much to handle.

  • Ouch!

  • I live in clearwater and you had to be stupid to go out that far while all that nasty weather was coming in. Oh well, hopefully they get them all but its not looking to good for now for how cold its gotten.

  • what percentage of ppl in clearwater are scientologists?

  • Ummmm, Id say ALOTTTTT. You mostly just seem them walking around in the city around the church dressed like men in black.

  • I am getting real tired of you fucking "girlie men" tagging my comments. All I said was "The sharks got the three men". which is probably true. If you knew anything about the gulf of mexico you would know it is full of sharks. So I would bet heavy money that the sharks got them weather you "candy asses" like the truth or not. So go back to your mother's basement, whip the snake, and shut the fuck up!

  • LOL

  • well poor guys, but Im sure they had a good run

  • i hope your fucking kids and mom get lost and killed slowly you fucking faggit ass skin head. get a fucking life

  • Lol, don't pay any attention to Macktovollkommenheit, he's a nazi, you know how crazy they are.

  • your fucking gay get a life

  • thats so sad..

  • the rest was never found, prabably dead

  • there dead.

  • they're dead

    learn grammar you idiot

  • Ok to EVERYBODY, instead of being disrespectful, racist, distasteful, pricks, whatever lets pray for their families. Yes, they're most likely dead and may HAVE been eaten by sharks but that is a hurt their families have to live with so let's just pray for them and leave it at that.

  • Yeah, let's "pray"... that always does a heck of a lot

  • i think that there are a few different type of sharks in the gulf of mexico. that would be pretty freaky floating out there

  • Wear your life vests.

  • they had on life vests according to the survior, just funny if they did, that they have not been found???? The boat was anchored before flipping over. they had to be all close to one another. It just seems odd. Storm or no Storm

  • I really hope they find them, either way. so that the family of the other 3 gentlmen can get some closure.

  • man hockey players and football players have thick necks...lol yup..ok...bye..

  • the 2 on air host's of this show are really not kind or thoughtful.

There speaking about and even suggesting "IT'S OVER" ....IF it were their loved ones in the boat would they speak like that ??? Grow up and be aware of what your sharing with the public. Think before you speak of such a sensitive subject.

TV is not about just another throw or sound bite OR at least it shouldn't be.

PS Your not Howard Stern and even he would be more sensitive and creative then your lack luster lazy approach .

  • he said "to be honest.....", he isnt a coast guard rescuer, but the reality is chances r they r gone, the ship has sunk and theyve been in the water for how many days......

Cenk keep it real, and it wasnt as if he was disrespectful

  • You have a point - but the style of this show has the hosts talking about issues on air much like they would talk about them off air.

It is a performance of course, but much less so than Sterns show, and to be honest, their tiny audience does sort of let them off the hook in terms of any 'weight of responsibility'' they might need to consider when making a statement.

But considering how these families will be devastated, I can see where you are coming from.

  • Prayers to the families - they narrowed the search considerably after they found Schuyler, so maybe they'll find them. They all had life vests on, at least. :(

  • This was pretty sad. I feel very sorry for their families.

  • I think aliens got them...

  • Weren't they around the Bermuda Triangle? Weird weather patterns and such.

  • They were kinda far out for the boat they were in, unless one of them was supposed to be a better seaman than has been storied. That's the trouble with handheld GPS locators, its a real temptation to take a little boat out farther than you should.

  • Maybe in 4 years one of them will turn up on a makeshift raft with a wilson volleyball with a bloody face painted into it.

But really it's a tragic story. Can you imagine being in the middle of the ocean with no boat?

  • hope they are alive still

  • It was a small boat. Maybe it had a center counsole and cover. He was sitting on top of the boat kind of holding on to the outboard. Waves are strange in terms of energy and motion. There is wave interferance and chop. Sometimes big waves will come in at different angles causing unpredictable waveforms. They were said to have been wearing life preserver jackets.

  • dont know these football player but i wish them well and hope they do turn up alive..

  • I have sailed solo from Florida to the Virgin Islands, and was caught in a storm....I am very experienced, but that is the scariest thing you can ever face.....you are at the mercy of mother nature....and there is not badder person than her.......you pray, cry, piss your pants all at once......if only one was found, and he was on the boat holding on..it's hard to survive if the other's were in the water...life vest or not.....they will survive longer due to conditioning but it does not look good

  • I still don't understand why they have to go fishing so far off the coast. 50 miles from shore is a long ass way in the ocean. I go fishing in lake michigan, but never farther out from shore than 3 miles

  • I swam in both Lake Michigan & the St. Petersburg, FL ocean - big difference. In the ocean, the salt water makes swimming much easier, it's amazing how far and how easily you can swim compared to fresh water. Also at most times of the year the gulf waters can feel as warm as a bath tub (close to shore). However, Lake Michigan is damn cold and because it's fresh water your always working hard to stay afloat. I remember, after jumping in, this eerie feeling of immense pressure all around me.

  • PS.

Speaking of tact - if I were to tell that joke directly to someone who was close to the victims, THAT would be bad manners. But I didn't.

And you have to realize why media reports this to us. It's all about entertainment. If you believe this story actually have real news value beyond entertainment, then you're a bit naive. Sick? I know.

  • Well, if you want to break it down to its bare essentials, it's about money. Keep people entertained (meaning interested) = potential advertising viewers = money for the networks through more advertising dollars. But, on the idea of being naive or short sighted in thinking: "entertainment" can be serious and be taken seriously. To see it otherwise is a limited view. Also, to think that because we're posting to faceless and nameless people absolves us from courtesy & consideration is unsocial.

  • So who should you bash, the ones making money off of it or the one making a joke about it? Think about it, should we really not be able to joke about tragedy? Really? Even really politically correct comedians like Jay Leno do it.

And it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm saying it on the internet. As long as the family of the victims aren't around, I'll say it to anyone. Hey, at least I'M not the one making money off of it. You should bash TYT, not me.

  • I don't think it's a question of, "if" we can make a joke about a tragedy, but rather, "when" and "how". I think it's a mistake to not recognize that context is everything. When you make a joke of a tragedy to your friends and loved ones, they know you, they know your heart is not filled with hate or disregard for others. But when when people don't know us (on the internet) it helps to bring with us some social courtesies.

  • By the way, I'm not bashing you, only the lack of respect so soon after this tragedy.

  • And what does time got to do with it anyway? Please explain how time matters.

And once again, don't bash my lack of respect if you're not going to bash TYT for making money off of this tragedy.

  • boatsman? lmao what about sailer?!

  • After 72 hours it becomes highly unlikely that anyone else would have survived. I truely hope they don´t give up looking.

  • We've pretty much concluded that if you're name is anywhere near as big as theirs, "Lost at sea" = organized crime effectively removed you from the mortal world.

  • ur an ass dude.. have some respect.

  • This is just terrible.

  • Around 12 years ago, a guy from my high School was swept away by a rip tide, they never found his body. The grand majority of people who go missing at sea are never found. Plus you have to worry about animals, rain storms, winds, waves and even pirates now.

  • They had life jackets on they would be floting a shark or sqiud must of ate them or somting or maby they drifted a way realy far

  • Well he obviously didnt read much past the article title. There were 4 people on the boat, the two others were college players.

  • man thats sad man

  • they should of got on a huge deep sea fishing boat?

  • how sad. they're dead men

  • Smtih has only been with the Lions. I hope they find them.

  • Actually I'm wrong about Smith. I still think this should be bigger news.

  • Get real. They're dead. The boat was found but they were not...they were supposed to be on that boat.

I hope they find their bodies.

  • And of course they were jocks so they didnt need no wimpy lifevest. Wear your GD lifevest on any boat!

  • Now I am not sure if the others were wearing life vests, but the guy found with a piece of the boat had a vest on. Could the others have? Not sure. Has there been reports otherwise? Keep in mind the waves were large, and could easily have taken the guys under.

  • Verry Sad..

  • Cenk: You don't have to look so happy about it jesus

  • When you use the word recovered, that usually means they're dead

  • This is why black people don't go camping. Yes, I'm a bad guy.

  • i'm black & i've camped since i was about 6yrs old. either way, they were on a boat not a campground my friend

  • I just knew someone would take it too seriously. :)

  • lives hang in the balance & all you can make is a race joke? a bad one at that. shame on you

  • at least wait a few days. c'mon. you know it was way too soon to make that joke. those guys have families

  • i care as a member of human race. at least give their spirits (alive & dead) a little time to deal with the separation. c'mon.

BUT, i also care as someone who prayed for miami to go 0-16 & watched them blow it. then my dreams came true when detroit went 0-16. but i have a new dream: to see detroit repeat that record. there was a dolphin & a lion on that boat. don't you see a connection?

  • yeah, i care enough to wait a while until i crack jokes. i care in that if they had a flat tire, i'd stop to help them. i care in that i can personally say that i've given people the shirt off my back & the shoes off my feet on more than 1 occasion. wherever you're from, you know that offering a shoeless man yours is an act of humanity.

  • A mental issue?

  • I like Turtles!

  • "It's allowed to joke about anything. Don't be a muslim about it."

Wow, that's really not funny at all. I'm not even referring to the racial part of it, since you obviously don't mean it seriously, but to just how stupid and lacking in any creativity the joke is. It's so meaningless.

For your own good, stop trying to be funny. Again, not because people will think you're a racist with this joke, but because they'll know you're just a complete witless moron.

  • Your dead grandma is alright to joke about she was a old hag...

  • The point is two men have probably died, and you chose to make a provocative, racial joke about it.

If you don't want people to think you're a prick, don't act like one.

  • The point is, shit happens and joking about it should not be taboo. Most people have made a joke about a sad incident. Get off your high horse.

  • I think the point is, most people know that if your going to make a joke, in an environment or situation, where people might be sensitive to an issue...you know, issues like death, than maybe you keep it to yourself or save it till later. Some people call it "tact". The internet seems to encourage a breakdown in social manners, but in the real world, "tact" can help you keep your friends, keep your job, and possibly, save your life...assuming you lose tact at the wrong moment.

  • This isn't an enviorment where people might be sensitive to an issue. This is YouTube. If people are truly upset about this, then they should stop ignoring what happens in the world every single day.

  • Get real. They're dead. The boat was found but they were not...they were supposed to be on that boat.

I hope they find their bodies.

  • LOOOOOOOOLLLLLL

The 58 won't sink don"t worry look at his ears.

  • Love it

  • The kids name Schuyler is pronounced "sky lur".

  • man, that's sad. I hope they find them...

  • American football is for fat overgrown fucks

  • u play cricket the worlds pussiest sport

  • I dont play cricket. Its gay too, not as gay as american football though

  • I'm not a football fan but how exactly is it gay? A bit insecure with your sexuality perhaps?

  • little man.

  • I couldn't believe it when I saw the story too ... man.

  • this is pretty sad. But at the same time, it can happen to anyone.

  • I hope they find them alive.

  • sounds good to me

    TYT FOR MSNBC!!

  • Oh they arn't missing.

  • Wow

  • Wow

  • TYT FOR MSNBC!!
