Nice Eric. i did canyoning when i was in Japan on a rugby tour in 2008. ours seemed a bit more intense tho. we had to hike up a mountain and then rappel, swing, use a flying fox and all that, the go down a waterfall head first! it was insane

If you don't need to go so deep, I'd recommend a Cannon Xtacti.
